261 Never

No matter how many times Haewon tried to bring up the subject of getting married during their date, Jake always managed to change the subject before she could get it out.

As they strolled down the beach shores after having dinner at a seaside restaurant, Jake figured that Haewon would want to bring up the subject again soon since they were about to leave, so he glanced at his wristwatch and exclaimed loudly.

"Shoot! It's late already. The lady I left with my grandmother would be leaving by seven, and it's already six thirty," he said, looking very worried and Haewon frowned.

"Ask her to wait for twenty minutes. I will drive you home," Haewon offered but Jake shook his head.

"No. It's bad enough that I can't see you off, I can't let you drop me off at home. Go home and I will take a cab. I will call you when I get home," Jake promised.
