Just Maybe
Selena was pretty exhausted after a long and hectic day at the office, and all she could think about was going home so she could soak herself in a warm and scented bath to relax herself before going to bed. That was as long as Ivy let her have a quiet evening in peace.
She smiled at the thought of Ivy and wondered if Ivy had gotten home or was still out with Gabe.
She giggled to herself as she tried to imagine how surprised Ivy must have been to have Gabe visit her in school. She knew Ivy must be feeling as proud as she had felt when Gabe visited her at work the day before.
Thinking about her lunch with Gabe at the restaurant and how Oliver had been watching them, a sigh escaped her lips.
She felt kind of relieved that she hadn't run into him for anything since she came to work that morning and hoped that it would remain that way for them. That was the only way she would feel at ease.
