Consumed by a thirst for revenge for his father's tragic demise, he is determined to rectify the past and reclaim what he believes is rightfully his. In order to achieve this, he sets his sights on winning the heart of Kim Haewon, the sole heiress to the fortune he seeks to acquire. However, what Jake never anticipated was the unexpected twist of fate that led him to fall deeply in love while orchestrating his deceitful plan to steal the affection of the woman he was meant to despise. Can he afford to allow love to blossom between himself and the daughter of his enemies? (Photo Credit to the real owner of cover photo! It’s not mine)

I Will Stop

As Charlotte stepped out of the shower after she got back from school, her phone started ringing and she picked it up when she saw it was a call from Regina.

"I figured out a way for us to take care of that Ha—nuel boy," Regina said going straight to the point without bothering to ask how she was doing.

"What can I do?" Charlotte asked, knowing that was the only question expected from her.

She didn't need to be told that Regina was telling her this because she had a role to play in taking Ha-nuel out of the picture.

"Jake informed me that Haewon is planning to matchmake you with Ha-nuel. Has she mentioned anything of the such to you?" Regina said and Charlotte raised a brow.

Why would Haewon be planning to do something like that when she knew Ha-nuel was interested in her? What? Ha-nuel wasn't good enough for her so she thought it was best to pass him to her? Charlotte mused irritably.
