'I almost regret giving Tommy all those extra cards I wasn't going to use but I never would've thought that the rules compared to the original world and this one would've changed so much. The craziest thing about duel monsters is the fact that rules can change with no one the wise I looked up the rules when I first came to the world and since no one was talking about changes I thought everything was still the same. My thinking is again interrupted by a referee telling me to move and go to my next station. The next 3 duels are boring and I win with minimal difficulty with the only person giving me slight trouble being Sid but he was easy to deal with after taking out his Fire Wing Pegasus.

'That was about what I expected if Derrick used Destiny Heros I would've fallen out of chair but this is in the acceptable range even if there are more cards that have different effects than in the orginal. The only thing left to do now is up grade my deck since if Derrick used cards like Marauding Captain I must be able to get my hands on them.'

An announcer speaks as soon as the duel between James and Derrick finished "Alright all for finalist have been set you 4 win an invite to the Domino City regionals starting 2 weeks from today. So you four rest up, upgrade your deck and get a move on as this could be your big break."

'I'm back at my apartment after escaping from the chatterbox that is Tommy and as I sit I go through my deck I look through all of my card to find one specific one. As I look at the Beast of Talwar I see nothing wrong with it but i "feel" that somthing is different with the card. An arua surrounds the card as a pressence makes itself known.'
