Years 3-6
Years 3 and 4:
Suki could be seen running around Konoha at a fast speed.
'Lap 42. Just another 38 more to go this hour. Otherwise, I'll have to do 48.' She thought.
Suki was now 11 years old with two years left of the Academy. Over the years, she had grown some. She now stood 5'2, about 2 inches taller than Sasuke at the beginning of Naruto. She wore her hair in a big tail so that it wouldn't hang down below her waist. She wore a black collared shirt with sleeves that only covered her shoulders. She wore dark purple gloves from her hands to just below her shoulders. She had the fingers cut off so she could hold onto her weapons easier without there being a chance of them slipping during a fight. She wore black leggings with her kunai and shuriken holster on her right leg. She had white bandages from her knees down to her ankle. On her feet, she still wore blue sandals. She had also grown slightly in another department. She now had a small bust of an A cup. Not large, since she is a child.
She has started training in other areas now since her learning has somewhat stagnated. Since she is still classified as an Academy Student, there were limitations to what Jutsus the village would allow her to see. She had quickly gone through the ones she could have access to, the Clone Jutsu, Henge Jutsu, and the Substitution Jutsu were easy to learn. She managed to have Gai allow her to learn the Shunshin. The technique allows the user to move at a very fast speed looking almost as teleportation, but not anywhere close to the real thing. Her entire body moves at a fast speed due to her chakra being sent through her feet in large amounts that cause her surroundings to blur.
Other than those 4, there isn't really anything Academy Students can learn until they are Genin and gain access to more.
So, she's focused on what she can. She now wears 400 pound weights on each arm and 600 on each leg.
Without any of the weights on, she can move at High-Chunin speeds. Her Chakra Control is also now at Mid-Chunin Level and her Chakra levels are at High-Chunin Level as well.
This sounds like a lot, but there is a difference between power and experience. Despite training with Lee, Naruto, and Sasuke through the years, she has yet to have a true fight. One where she or her opponent can die.
30 minutes later, Suki finished her laps before heading towards her training grounds.
She stood on the water before creating signs.
"Fire Style: Fire Clone Jutsu!" A clone appeared in front of her.
They both took stances before going through more hand signs.
"Fire Style: Fire Attack!" Both of their arms caught fire.
They dashed at each other before attacking each other.
The main purpose of this exercise is to keep control of the technique while under attack while also trying not to get hit.
Her reasoning for using these two? 'I get more practice using Clone Techniques and using Fire Attack in conjunction with the Strong Fist, increasing the power behind each blow.'
Doing this type of training has allowed her to increase her control of fire chakra and fighting an opponent who can explode upon being defeated.
They kept this up until Suki landed a blow on the clone, who started glowing orange.
"Wind Style: Breakthrough!" She called out before blowing out a large amount of air, sending the clone flying and exploding far enough away from her.
As the ash cloud settled she couldn't help but understand another area that she needed to work on.
"Hand signs allow the user to shape their chakra into the right area and amount quickly. I could work on making these hand signs at a faster rate. Or, I can work on my jutsu to the point I master them enough not to need them anymore." She muttered aloud.
"Suki!" Someone yelled.
She looked over and saw Gai. She jumped off the water and landed across from him.
"Have you considered it?" She asked.
"Alright," He sighed. "How far are you into the gates again?"
"I unlocked Seimon (3rd) about 2 months ago." She reminded.
"Alright, if you can make me use the first gate, I'll teach you the Shadow Clone Technique." He agreed.
Suki wanted that technique for several reasons. She needs to know if it can really crunch down on training as much as she knows, or if that is only temporary. Next, she knew that they could perform the same fighting style and same ninjutsu as the original.
She needed to know if they could copy the Eight Gates.
"Whenever you are ready." He told her.
She took off her weights, creating small craters next to her. She stretched her limbs to loosen them up.
After about a minute, she nodded before facing him.
"Seimon [3], open!" She exclaimed.
Her hair stood up as her skin turned red and her eyes seemed to disappear but in reality, they were just being blocked by chakra. Some of the muscles in her arms and legs started to slightly bulge.
His eyes widened, not really expecting her to actually go all out just for the technique.
"Hey Su-" He tried to talk before she started making hand signs one second, and her fists were on fire the next.
"Here I come!" She exclaimed before dashing at him, causing the ground to create a tiny crater from the force she shot off with.
He barely dodged as the first flaming fist missed his face barely. He kept just barely dodging.
Normally, a Jounin would have no trouble against an Academy Student. An Academy Student who could unlock the 3rd Gate and have fists that can create small explosions on the other hand.
She kept going.
The fight continued for about 5 minutes before Gai ended it.
"Kyūmon [2]!"
He vanished before hitting the back of her neck, knocking her out and causing her skin and hair to return to normal.
He released Kyūmon and looked down at her.
"You're too smart not to have noticed that your muscles were starting to tear from the usage of Seimon. You should have even noticed that the flames on your hands were growing unstable but you did start to lower the intensity of them. You knew all of this. So why?" He couldn't help but ask. "Why did you need to learn this jutsu so badly?"
1 hour later...
Suki opened her eyes and groaned. She leaned forward and knew she was in a hospital room.
"Overused Seimon again, didn't I?" She muttered aloud.
"You did." She then realized Gai was next to her.
"You won the challenge, but I need to know Suki." He started.
She was full attention because she could realize that he was being serious. That was something that he only seems to give off when he's giving Lee and her advice or when he brought up the gates.
"Why did you want this jutsu so badly?"
She was silent for a bit. "You remember Naruto, right?"
"Ah, the boy with so much youth that is only outshined by my students?"
"Well, you know how he has a lot of chakra right?"
His eyes slightly grew sharper. "Yes?"
"Well, with his amount of chakra, he would never be able to do the clone technique that will be needed to graduate the Academy. I figured, since I've heard this one takes a lot more chakra, he could possibly use it as a substitute for the clone technique." She explained.
"I see. You only wanted to help a friend." He nodded while saying this. He then pulled a scroll out of his pocket before placing it on one of the nightstands next to her. "After reading the scroll and, under my permission, teaching Naruto-kun, destroy the scroll. I mean that with as much seriousness as I can Suki. In fact, open it now and use your Sharingan to memorize the instructions. Once you've read it enough, I can take it back instead." He told her.
She grabbed the scroll before opening it and activating her Sharingan. With the 3-tomoe Sharingan, one can memorize something for over 5 years. By the time that they would have forgotten it, they have usually already done it enough times that it becomes permanent.
'The Shadow Clone Jutsu-allows the user to create a physical copy of themselves that have access to all of their skills at the point of creation. They can take up to 1-5 hits before dispersing and sending any remaining chakra back to the user and anything they experienced. The chakra cost of this is unique. To make one clone, it splits your chakra in half evenly between user and clone. Two clones will split it into thirds and so on. Due to this condition, it has been labeled a Kinjutsu.'
Underneath the description of the jutsu are the hand signs needed to make it. She looked at the hand signs a total of 20 times, making sure she had the signs memorized.
When she was confident enough that she could do it without the scroll, she rolled it back up before handing it to Gai.
"Thank you Gai-sensei. I won't forget this." She told him.
"How about next time, you simply tell me the reason why you want it instead of having to come here for a few muscle tears." He told her.
"Am I good to go or?"
"Yes, they've already healed you and have asked you to not make it a habit."
With that, he shunshined away, allowing her to get up and leave.
Next day...
She didn't practice it yesterday because she decided she would take a break after that fight because she did feel tired.
She formed the hand signs.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" She exclaimed before a cloud poofed in front of her.
It disappeared before revealing a perfect Suki clone.
She breathed out slightly heavily.
'Man, screw Jinchurikis.' She thought.
That one clone had, like described, cut her chakra in half. This left her with the chakra of a low Chunin-High Genin.
"Alright, perform Lightning Style: Lightning Bolt. I haven't mastered it yet so it should be a good way to determine if I actually do gain any mastery through this use." She told the clone.
It performed the signs before sticking its hand out.
"Lightning Style: Lightning Bolt!"
A bolt of lightning shot from her hand and struck the ground, leaving a small hole in the ground.
It then dispelled itself, returning about 90% of its chakra back to her.
Alongside a slightly better version of understanding how the lightning bolt is made from her chakra and fired.
'So it can still work, but at most, I can only create 5 at the moment and that would reduce me to a Low-Genin. But, that means a possible 6x learning rate.' She thought before growing a grin.
"Let's get to work!"
She trained that way for a while before, obviously, teaching Naruto the technique.
By the end of the year, she found out that by using up so much of her chakra every day from her training, she was actually increasing her chakra amount by a small amount.
But if her training happens three times a week with 52 weeks in a year, one small bit became 156 small bits. It increased her reserves to low Jounin, allowing her to summon up to 8 now.
She had also mastered most of the Fire Jutsu she knew, mastered one of two Wind Jutsu, and mastered two Lightning Jutsu as well.
5-6:
Not too much happened in the next two years, besides Suki creating/learning Fire, Wind, and Lightning Styles of the Shadow Clone Technique and upping her weights to a total of 600 per arm and 850 pounds per leg, 150 pounds less than Lee. She had also unlocked the 4th gate, Shōmon 3 months before the end of the Academy.
