5 Chapter 5: First Member, GET!
It's been a day since the incident with Kuina and Helmeppo, and I'm at this bar again, same for Kuina.
'Any time soon, Helmeppo should be coming here again'
I order my daily Steak and Water and get it delivered and chow down on it.
The next second, once again, the doors slams open, and as expected, Helmeppo enters the Bar, this time, with about 50 Marine soldiers, 2 dogs, and a weapon. He grabs Rika by the hair, who's coincidentally the closest person to him, and holds her hostage.
He puts the end of his sword to Rika's neck, scaring her, and she starts crying, her mother starts crying as well.
Helmeppo: "Listen Here! Pirate Hunter, Kuina! Either you come with me and starve for 30 days in my father's headquarters as punishment for what you did to me and my beloved dog, OR, This little girl right here dies"
'What a little shit..'
Kuina gets up from her seat and surrenders, saying she'll take the punishment. She tells Helmeppo to let the girl go, to which he doesn't, so Kuina does a quick first-step to him and appears a few centimetres in front of him, scaring him and causing him to let Rika go.
Kuina: "Take me to where I need to be" Helmeppo then takes the lead, and she follows.
'Time to follow them' I get out of my seat and leave the bar, following them from a distance. Eventually, they end up at the base, and just like the anime, there's a cross in the middle, with nothing surrounding it.
Helmeppo: "Give me your sword" She gives him the sword. Helmeppo then tells his henchmen to tie her up to the cross, and take her sword to his office.
Her arms and legs get tied up in really tight knots.
Helmeppo: "Let's see how long you'll last, hahahaha!" He walks off with a smug smile.
'Now, the real question, do I save her now? Or do I wait a few days until she's hungry and then save her?' I think to myself. After a few seconds I Realise what I thought and question why I even thought about letting her starve to begin with.
'Of course I need to help her right now, I'm not heartless enough to just leave her when I can help her right now, but she might reject to join my crew if I help her now. Oh well, if not I could just ask someone else to join my crew.'
I get down from the spot I was watching all of this from, and walk up to the cross where the tied up Kuina is.
"Hello there"
Kuina: "Why are you here?! You need to leave!" She says in a worried tone.
'It seems that even in these kind of situations, she still cares about others more than herself'
"I'm here to help you"
Kuina: "And why would you do that?" She says while raising an eyebrow questioningly.
"I need people to join my crew, and you seemed like the perfect person to join my crew"
Kuina: "What kind of crew..?"
"Pirate Crew"
Kuina: "No" She rejects
"Why?"
Kuina: "Because I don't want to join a crew, especially a pirate crew"
"Well, you're still going to join my crew no matter what, so stay here while I get your sword" I start insisting like Luffy did to Zoro
'God this better work, I hate it when I have to sound desperate'
Kuina: "Wait!" I run off to Helmeppo's office before she could say anything other than "Wait". I enter the building and nonchalantly walk to the room of Helmeppo. Along the way, I come across a marine, to which I just Soru and then punch him, knocking him out before he could even move.
I then turn the corner and see the sign saying "Helmeppo's room", and see 5 marines guarding the hall, and 2 standing by the door. I simply summon a portal and get a sword.
I then use multiple Soru's, and multiple slashes to knockout the marines, I could've killed them but from what I remember, these marines were forced by Captain Morgan to do their duties so, they're fine.
I enter Helmeppo's room and see him on his desk reading a very bad looking porn magazine.
'Didn't think they had those in the One Piece world' I use armament haki and Soru's momentum to punch him in the face, nearly killing him, but not actually killing him, since once again, he also becomes a good guy in the future, but that punch was for the piece of shit he is currently, not the future him.
I go to the corner of the room and see the Wado Ichimonji, I grab the hilt of the sword and break the window before jumping out the building for the top floor. Last second before hitting the floor, I use Geppo and have a perfect landing.
I walk over to Kuina and see her having a shocked look
Kuina: "Did you just jump out from THAT window, the tallest point of the building, not including the roof?"
"Yep, now hold still, I'm gonna get you out of here and then we'll carry on our journey"
Kuina: "I told you, thanks for saving me, but I'm not joining your crew"
"And~ Done, alright lets go"
Kuina: "Stop ignoring me, I'm not joining your crew!"
'Goddamn it, I knew it, she's not going to join, oh well, time for the final attempt'
"So, what's your name?"
Kuina: "Kuina Shimotsuki, the future World's Greatest Swordsman, and you?"
"Monkey D. Gilgamesh, that's my adopted name, but my name is actually Gilgamesh, not sure about the rest"
Kuina: "And your dream?"
"None really, I guess, just get stronger than anyone else so that they don't mess with me and the people I love, and if they do I'll kill them"
Kuina: "That's fair"
"So, are you now gonna join my crew?"
Kuina: "..*Sigh* You're not going to stop pestering me about joining your crew are you?"
"Nope, I'm a selfish guy, if I see something I want, I'll get it no matter how long it takes, and no matter what it takes, and currently, I want you to join my crew and become the swordsman of my crew" I say seriously
Kuina: "Fine, I can tell you won't give up. It's a pleasure joining your crew, Captain" She says while giving a light smile
"It's good having you, but right now, we need to deal with the pests coming right now"
I use my Observation Haki to see around 100 Marines coming to us, and one big aura, which seems to be Captain Morgan, making it 101 enemies, but I only need to defeat the 1 and then the final ones are dealt with since they'll be free.
Morgan: "Bastard! What did you do to my son!?"
"I knocked him out." I say with no emotion.
Morgan: "Kill him and bring me his head!" He shouts to his marines, 20 of them charge at me, all of them with swords, the remaining 80 stay back.
"I'll let you deal with these" I say to Kuina "I'll deal with the non-swordsmen and the Captain"
Kuina: "Okay" She gets in her stance and slices them all, faster than the normal eye could see, and knocks them all out due to blood loss. With the sword I got recently from the GoB, I run in to the group of 80 and slice the ones that get in my way, I slash about 15 before using soru to get far from the rest and ending up in front of Captain Morgan.
Morgan: "Idiot!" He swings his axe-hand, aiming to slice me in two. I use Tekkai to make my defense impenetrable to his axe.
Morgan: "NANI?!"
"Zasshu(Mongrel)" I swing my leg to the side and create an air blade (Rankyaku) and leave a deep cut across Morgans body. I then use the sword to diagonally cut his chest, and he falls to the floor, leaving a pool of blood under his body. And then, to rub salt on the wound, I use the sword and infuse Armament Haki and slice his arm with his axe-hand. Because he's knocked out, he doesn't even react to the fact he's just lost his arm.
I turn back and look at the remaining marines, and see them throwing their weapons and hats in the air while happily cheering.
Marine 1: "WOOOO, Morgan's gone!"
Marine 2: "We're free!"
I walk over to Kuina and put my hand on her shoulder.
"It's time to go" She then nods and we walk to the bar and order one last meal, before saying goodbye to Rika and her mother, and leaving to carry on our journey.
Kuina: "So, where to now captain?"
"I Dunno"
