Chap 1: Rebirth – Arrival at Yun Cheng

"Qin Ran, from today onward, this would be your home." Ning Erlang told her daughter in a low voice as the latter sat quietly on the chair. She had been quiet since she fetched her from the airport this morning.

"Your grandmother is no longer around and we are your family now. As long as you don't do anything that would cause the Lin family to lose face, your stepfather will be able to tolerate you being here." Ning Erlang went on.
