Sacrifice Her or Doom Us All

Higher-up 3: "This feels a bit anti-climatic"

Higher-up 1: "Don't assume so quickly. I've seen how much destruction Humanoid Monsters can do with my own eyes. It must be warming up for now"

Higher-up 3 can't help but feel concerned for what may be the outcome to all of this. But he hopes that all is well in the end.

Irene: "Crap-"

The monster attacks Irene from her blind spot with it's vines and manages to throw her all the way to the barrier. She crashes against it falls to the ground unconscious. And the monster starts making itself bigger and bigger... Wait, it's getting too big. It might just fill the entire barricaded area. If this keeps up, Irene will be crushed.

Higher-up 3: "We need to open the barrier now! That thing will crush her!"

Higher-up 1: "No... If she dies from something like this. It means the experiment was a failure, and she failed the test. Simple as that"

Higher-up 3: "That is why we must train her instead! Forcing the results right away would do us no benefit!"

Higher-up 1: "You know nothing of how this agency works. You may be on an equal ground as I am but you're new to all of this. Don't meddle with something you don't know"

Higher-up 3: "You're right, I may be new but I am still on an equal ground as you. Which means I have the right to respectfully go against your will"

Higher-up 2: "What!?- Hey where do you think you're going!"

Higher-up 1: "..."

Higher-up 2: "Aren't you gonna do anything about that?"

Higher-up 3: "I'd like to see how he's going to deal with the aftermath of his actions later. I've been rather bored as of late. This might provide me some entertainment for the time being"

Higher-up 3 rushes to Head-manager Grunt of The White Class department.

Grunt: "Sir, what are you doing here?"

Higher-up 3: "I want you to open up the barriers now"

Grunt: "What?"

Higher-up 3: "That thing's not gonna stop growing anytime soon and Miss Vale will get killed. I need you to open up the barrier!"

Grunt: "...I'm sorry. I'm afraid I can't do that. Neither can I let you do it yourself"

Higher-up 3: "What!? Now why is that?"

Grunt: "Either we let that thing kill Miss Vale which proves the test as a failure, or open the barrier and let the monster escape. Unnecessarily risking the innocent lives of people living near the forest. And if we were to call for back up. It'd take them long enough for that monster to kill everyone in this camp before they arrive. Now tell me, would you rather that happen instead?"

Higher-up 3: "...But-"

Grunt: "Are you actually considering risking everyone's lives for one person? With all due respect sir, but get your head out of the clouds for once. I know you're a new memeber of this Agency which is why I think it's necessary to remind you that this is the harsh reality of our Job. Either you sacrifice her for the sake of everyone else... Or you doom us all"

Higher-up 3 doesn't know what to say at this point. He feels hopeless and guilty.

Evelyn: "I say doom us all"

Evelyn, who comes out of no where, opens the barrier without Grunt noticing she was behind him this entire time.

Grunt: "What do you think you're doing?!"

Evelyn: "The very thing you're too much of a wuss to do so yourself! Killing it"
