Out Like A Light

Driver: "Miss Stone. They know where she is"

Evelyn: "They found her already?"

Irene: "Found who?"

Evelyn: "You"

.....

Evelyn and Irene peek over to the stairs to see if someone would show up. After a while they start hearing voices coming from the first floor.

Person 1: "She's on the 3rd floor! Let's go let's go!"

Irene: "Are they really after me?"

Evelyn: "They must be Vartians. A rivaling country taking actions in a foreign land? How bold of them"

Irene: "Hey, you're a hunter aren't you? Can't you just fight them?"

Evelyn: "If I use my ability here, you'd all die"

Irene: "Okay.... Where's our get away ride?"

Evelyn: "We have someone waiting for us in the parking lot"

Irene: "Then let's just-"

Evelyn: "Jump out the window? Yeah, that's what I was thinking"

When a bunch of guys got to the 3rd floor, they busted open Irene's door but she was nowhere to be found. That's because they jumped out of the building and landed on top of the hood of the parking lot just a few moments ago.

Those people hunting for Irene hears the loud noise coming from the parking lot just right outside. They look over from the window and see Irene and Hayzel making a run for it.

Person 1: "There she is! Open fire!"

They start shooting but it wasn't bullets.

Irene got shot behind her shoulder. She pulled it out and it was a tranquilizer dart.

Irene: "Oh-"

Her legs began to give out.

Evelyn: "Oh no you don't"

Evelyn caught her before she completely collapses to the ground and somehow carried this woman on the rest of the way. She managed to dodge all of the darts with Irene in her arms and goes down the roof and into the get-away car.

Driver: "Oh my God! Is she dead!?"

Hayzel: "Just out like a light. But we gotta get to HQ, and fast. Miss Vale here got us some not-so-welcoming visitors"

Driver: "U-understood!"
