Baby Arm

Doctor: "I've done all I can about this. I don't know what exactly happened to your injury but it seems like it's-"

Dalie: "Doctor you didn't kill her did you!?"

Dalie barges in the room.

Irene: "I'm alive"

Doctor: "I specifically messaged you that she's awake Miss Miller!"

Dalie: "Hah! I'm just messing with ya pal. Also, Irene, you used to be a magazine model!?"

Irene: "It's an old career. It really payed well but I still preferred some physical labor"

Evelyn: "Anyways, how are you feeling?"

Irene: "Well, the pain is gone and... My arm is growing"

Dalie: "Your what?"

The doctor explains that it seems that another perk of a Vale's pure blood is that it grants regeneration. Although, the time until the completion of this process is unkown.

Dalie: "You have a little baby's arm! it's so disgustingly small"

Evelyn: "You can give kids nightmares with that"

Doctor: "Ahem!.. Baby arm aside, It's best if she steps back from going any missions for now. Until her arm has fully grown back, she should stay here in the A.C.C. (Agency's Clinic Center)"

Irene: "Speaking of, I'm not a hunter yet but... About the test... Did I pass?"

Higher-up 1: "That's what I'm here to tell you Miss Vale"

One of the Higher-ups enters the room with his assistant.

Higher-up 1: "Everyone else should wait outside while we talk"

Everyone except for his assistant leaves the room.

Higher-up 1: "I'll be brief and say that you've passed your test. You are obligated to stay and work here or go back to your old life. And in regards of the payment for your contribution to the project, half of it went to your family as you requested us before hand"

Irene: "I'm actually planning to stay here but I do have conditions"

Higher-up 1: "Such as?"

Irene: "Give me your phone number"

Higher-up 1: "I have a wife. She'd be upset if she knew you are trying or hit on me"

Irene: "Please, I have standards"

His assistant chuckles and immediately pulls himself together when the Higher-up starts glaring at him.

Irene: "In terms of buisness, I'll need your phone number just incase"

Higher-up 1: "Incase of what?"

Irene: "Who knows. I'd rather keep in touch with people of higher authority if I ever need anything. And besides, you and I know both know you'd do almost anything I request. I am an essential part of your 'Line of Defense' after all"

Higher-up 1: "...Fine"

The Higher-up leaves along with his assistant after giving his phone number to Irene.

Irene: "This should come in handy someday"

Dalie: "Irene!!! What did he say!?"

Irene: "I passed. I'm staying to work here too"

Dalie: "Really!?"

Irene: "I'll have to talk to my mother about this as well. The doctor did say I can leave the clinic as long as I have someone to escort me"

Evelyn: "I'll assist you then"

Evelyn winks at Dalie.

Dalie: "Oh yeahhh. Let Evie go with you and you'll be fineee"

Irene: "If it's ok with you, then Alright"
