24 Chapter 24: Territory of a God of Magic
I got the money for the first project of my company :D so this is the celebration of that! The money wasn't much! In US dollars it would be about 230 dollars or something? But it's a start! (Also 230 dollars is like a pretty good starting income in my country :D)

Chapter 24: Territory of a God of Magic
If you live in a magic world and after 500-600 years you don't know anything about reading future, there is something wrong with you!
Reading future has many branches and half of them doesn't need any talent. But this man in front of me was smart and talented!
"Nicolas Flamel. Such an honor to meet a living legend like you, sir." He was couple of decades older than me and I'm not a rude demon god! "I see you are not in a good physical condition, how about we help each other. Let's make some deals."
"Ah, even though age has downsides like my whole body hurting every day, old age has its perks. Like being known and having more time to accumulate achievements."
I smiled and the hotel manager brought us two cups of ginger honey tea. "Anything else, sir?" He asked Flamel of course.
"No, thank you Edward."
He bowed to Flamel and left. He sipped his tea and said:
"Deal you said, huh? You see I've taught in that school for 300 years. Lately I felt bored and my body can handle less and less pressure each day so I quit. But I still consider that place as my school Mr. Green. You coming to my school and pressure my students and my coworkers…" He paused a bit and continued "I don't involve myself in politics, or wars or anything worldly. But the school is one of the only things I care about."
I answered: "I didn't want to bring any kind of trouble to you or Beauxbatons. I just wanted to be a librarian. And when they refused me, I felt the culture of improving needs to be renewed here."
I was careful with my words. It wasn't like I was scared of Flamel, but he had a tremendous amount of influence in France and all wizard communities. Nearly all of French wizards were his students! He could make things really difficult for me if he wanted to.
"Give me a chance. 1 year. And if you are unhappy with the results, I'd be glad to return the seat of headmaster to Madam Maxime. Also I can give you your youth back."
He raised his eyebrows and said:
"I'm listening."
"I know the elixir of life increases your life span, but as I can see your current form, it doesn't help you to stay young. I can give you your youth back."
"And what do you want in return?"
"3 things. First I want you to help me become the headmaster of Beauxbatons and reshape it into a better school of magic. Second I want you to teach there on more important subjects and use your connections to bring those old magicians who are clinging to life like you to this school and help me convince them to teach here. And the third one is that I want your knowledge of alchemy, I'll give you some small projects and I want you to work on them, you can reject of course."
He rubbed his eyes and said:
"I wanted to reject you without hearing what you want to say but you are not asking for something bad. It feels like dealing with a devil." He drank his tea and was in deep silence and said: "Let me talk to my wife about it. If she agrees we can work. I'll let you know in 3-4 hours. My body can't take the pressure of apparating. I need to go with a car. I'll send you the results with an owl. Are you planning on staying in this hotel?"
"Yes, I'll stay."
And he left while walking funny.

After that meeting Flamel sent me a letter and asked me to meet him and his wife at their home. I went there and after a lovely dinner I wrote them a Demonic Deal with my [Deal with the Devil] ability and used the conditions I told Nicolas and two souls from the soul container that I carried as their part of the deal.
After that everything went smoothly. Even if I wanted to become the Minister for Magic, with Flamels support I could be in a year or two!
In less than a week I became the new headmaster of Beauxbatons! And at that moment something crazy happened!

'Ah, I need to work a lot!'
After that message I talked to Tom about how we should open some businesses in France and I needed his help to increase my power as the headmaster of Beauxbatons.
Did I need to become the headmaster of this place? I would say yes. The rewards were so good I couldn't even imagine how good it would the effects be. On the next level of God of Magic I would get the Nature and Earth affinity, and if they were anything like the wind affinity I got, it would be amazing. With this wind affinity I could say I was able to just blow an army away! I could easily create couple of tornados and send them toward different cities! It was even without using the power of demonic disaster on it! If I added that energy to it, it would be twice more powerful at least!
With earth affinity I might even be able to create casual earthquakes!
Also that nature affinity? Who doesn't want to go all Hashirama Senju and go [Wood Style: Deep Forest Emergence] enemies?
With affinities I can go full mind blowing moves. Isn't that the dream? Better than Martin Luther king's dream I say!
Also training a lot of magical people would help me increase my influence on the world. I could increase my status and power together! What's better than this?
I had my first appearance in the school. They had a Main hall like Hogwarts where they had daily meals. I walked in and looked at everyone. Most of the students were there and near half of the teachers.
Some of them didn't like the change of staff and headmaster.
I walked toward the headmasters seat and said "Today is a joyous day for Beauxbatons! I, Michael Green came to this school to improve the level of teaching magic. From tomorrow you will learn the changes in the school on your dorms news board. The change of staff is unfortunate but the best and brightest teachers are on the way here. To tell you a part of changes for the school I can give you the news on new buildings that are going to be built for preschools and higher education school on the campus. Also we will have at least 10 new branches of magic being taught here by the next term. And of course, by the next year we are hoping to open mastery courses in the school. I am talking too much. You need your energies for tomorrow. You'll probably have some problems because some of your teachers are absent but we will try to fix everything in a week. Problems are for tomorrow, let us dine now!"
Then I clapped, Dumbledore style and the food appeared.
After having the dinner I asked the staff to meet me in my office. 8 teachers were left. I gathered them at my room and had a little speech for them.
"Even though most of you don't want to be here and mostly have monetary problems or things like that, I must tell you about the new direction that we are taking. In a year, number of teachers will probably exceed 100 and we will have the best of the best teachers in the world here. I want nothing but quality, if you don't meet the standards you'll be forced to go through the mastery classes again. If you refuse or don't improve, we will have to let you go."
I paused for ten seconds to let them understand the threat and continued:
"Also aside from new facilities, new teachers, new courses and overall improvement of quality and efficiency, we'll establish a magical journal that all teachers are obligated to write at least one article per year and also a publication under this schools name. Any ground breaking thesis will affect your income. Aside from that, all kinds of clubs will start in the school and I want your cooperation to be the head of these clubs. You'll gain special privileges based on your work. We will discuss the details later on our second meeting in 5 days when the new teachers arrive. You can ask your questions then. I want you to think about what I said and the standards we want. If you don't think you can handle it, you can always leave."
They all left my room. I locked the door and teleported to Kamar-Taj. I needed to spend 8 hours there and finish the library as soon as possible.

After couple of hours I saw Ancient One coming inside the library.
"It's nice seeing you Ancient One."
She brought a kettle and two cups.
"Do you have time?"
I smiled and we sat behind a desk to drink tea.
I asked "So are you going to accept? I know you know what I'm going to ask you."
"Maybe not always myself. But even if I'm not there I can send a master to teach Eldritch magic at your school. Just the fighting part. We can't uncover too much sorcery to people."
"It's more than I needed."
We had a small talk and I went back to the school. Today was the day goblins would come to build 2 castles there! One for intermediate Level (11-17 year olds) and one for higher level (18-24 year olds) of magical education. The current building would be used by elementary level (7-11 year olds) of education.
I went to the main hall for breakfast. Everyone sat down at their tables and the food appeared. We were in the middle of breakfast that newspapers arrived. I knew the news would blow up the school like an atomic bomb. I prepared a lot for today's news.
An owl dropped a French Reporter and a daily prophet in front of me. I looked at the headlines.

'Hah, it's all starting.'
The talks in the main hall began to rise. Every student was going crazy about the sudden change!
"Silence!"
My voice sounded like a thunder and everyone got quiet.
"As you've seen, there will be changes! But first on the popular changes I need to mention two things that will happen through next 2 months which you should know about I think. First of that is there will be professional Quidditch teams coming at school after we make the second Quidditch field like a pro stadium. We hope to see a lot of matches happen at our school. We hope to have professional Quidditch lessons taught by professionals too."
The talks started again, and some students were simply shouting out of happiness!
"Second thing you need to know!" I shouted this part to silence the students.
"There will be at least 15 different clubs and all of you are obligated to join at least one club! Each one of clubs will be supervised at least by one teacher. List of the clubs and requirements for them will be out next week. And gather tonight for the arrival of new teachers and students."
I had my breakfast and went back to my office where Dumbledore was waiting for me.
"Mr. Green, or should I call you headmaster Green now?"
I smiled and shook his hand.
"Mr. Dumbledore, sorry for not talking to you about the plans I have for this school. I'm still grateful for what you've done for me. I hope to keep the position of librarian of Hogwarts if you are not unhappy about it. I feel a special connection to that library and I can control it as I want. Even if I'm not there I can be a librarian."
Albus smiled and said "It's no problem Headmaster Green, but the reason I'm here is not about the changes and your librarian position. I want to know about the Squib Cure rumor that has been going around. Are you claiming that you found a way to cure squibs?"
"I did, It was a joined research of me and Mr. Slytherin if I must say."
"But … How? Can I have your research on the matter?"
"Of course Professor, but wait for a week please, we are in the middle of patenting the process so only we could perform it in any country under ICW. We are glad to share any information afterwards. Not that we don't trust you professor, but thieves have many means and they could get it and patent it before us. That would be a huge loss."
Albus nodded and said: "I hope your work here bears any fruit. Did you think of any ways to solve the funding problem of Beauxbatons?"
"I have prepared several school businesses. I think they'll suffice for some time until we finish some long term plans."
"That's really good. I see that you added rituals as one of the branches to teach. Aren't you afraid that you might be in trouble for it? We are working on a ritual ban in ICW."
"I don't see ritual as a dark art. If taught properly if can be useful. It's actually funny that you are the one saying that considering having done at least 5 rituals of power. I'm pretty sure you did the burning sun ritual!"
He was shocked. He didn't know I can see all the energies within the school because of my divinity and I could feel traces of rituals on him.
"That might be true." He said that in a deep and contemplative voice and got out of my office after congratulating me for a second time.
I layed back on my chair thought about what I wanted to do with my school. Yes, my school.
