C33: Exiting Muri (End of Arc 1)

It's been a few days since I said "Goodbye" to the Princess.

She hasn't seen me since that. Although, I did see her.

I waited for a few days just for this event. To see if she would take the right choice. And she did.

Yesterday, another March of the King strolled across the streets of the City, carrying the Princess and the King on a white royal vessel that floats. Through the castle gates, another parade entered the city. This was not just any parade. It was another King, hidden inside a vessel.

At the center of the city, the two vessels connected each other and atop that, the Princess of Muri, Reya, and the Prince of Loy connected hands.

Amongst the crowd, I stayed and watched this marriage.

The Princess was not happy at all. She only smiled when she looked down at the Prince, wondering about something else. I sneezed right at that moment in the crowd. Gladly, Reya did not notice because of the ramblings of the crowd.

"Tonight, two kingdoms shall join forces with each other. Muri and Loy are no longer strangers to each other. We are brothers in arms!" The King of Loy announced, letting the Prince of Loy put the ring on Reya's hand.

Reluctantly, Reya did the same. However, Reya refused to kiss the Prince, even at this marriage.

The crowd went silent upon this, but the two kings saved the day by saying: "Finally! We have united! Let us celebrate now!"

Rumors began to circle in the crowd that very moment. Whispers were shared amongst the people. And I grinned, seeing Reya's truth in her words.

'She's such a lovely dove.' I thought to myself, drawing my hood and stepping out of the crowd.

After all, this marriage was nothing but a step for the two kingdoms of Loy and Muri to unite with each other in order to create a better and stronger military and economy. When the two kingdoms are connected, prosperity will only grow with the unity of these people.

It's at night that I take Nelly out of the stables. I pay the man who took care of her a fine amount of silver. He has taken good care of the horse.

I hop into the horse's back with my rucksack wrapped around my back, filled with the necessities I need for my next journey.

In the distance, the two doors of the Hollow Lodgings fling open as the ghost-like lady steps down its steps.

I smile at her.

"Elf. Good luck in your journey then," she calls out to me.

"Yeah, Cindy. Good luck in finding a husband. You know. You should just forget about your kinks if you ever need one," I reply to her, ordering the horse forth.

Nelly begins to step forward.

"Oh yeah? Will you ever come back?" Cindy asks as I ride past her.

"Yeah, of course. I will be back to take what is mine. And maybe you'll be over your kinks at that point. You have a damn fine body. Just stop acting like a devil, woman." I wave goodbye to her. "See you later, Cindy."

She leans against the wooden pole at the entrance to the Hollow Lodgings and she smiles. "See you later, Silver. And don't forget to bring me more silver coins next time!"

"Maybe. If you'd let me do whatever I want to you," I yell back to her with a grin, without turning around. I hear a chuckle escape her lips.

"Maybe..." she whispers under her breath.

I whip the horse with the strap and she marches forward, faster.

The guards at the gates of the castle open it for me, allowing me to exit. They ask no questions. I am coming out of the castle. Not entering it. They already checked me when I came.

The final night winds of March brush against my hair as I ride forth into the distance. The moon is not fully complete. Which means I have completed this mission under a month.

According to my calculations, that is an achievement.

Time flies. The quest isn't going to wait for me.

After all, I have to bang 99 more princesses within the next 10 years ahead of me.

After riding for about an hour and a half, the wisp of guidance to the quest suddenly summons itself onto my shoulder.

[Ah, you've completed a quest and earned a point then?] The old King Muri's voice echoes in my head.

"Yeah. I did." I smirk.

[And you fucked my granddaughter as your first quest. Very clever, Silver. Very fucking clever. But – your heart wavered, did it not? I wonder how you're going to fall in love with 100 Princesses, Silver. And how you're going to get away with it.]

Ah, yes. Reya is the granddaughter of King Muri. I knew that after hearing a few words from the citizens of Muri.

"Waver my heart? Your granddaughter is a very kind girl, Old man. She knows how to steal a man's heart. She's very much my type too, so – I guess I'll have her as my wife after I finish this quest." I grin.

[Oh? And you're going to wed the next 99 princesses you're going to fuck too?] The King of Muri laughs out loud.

I narrow my eyes. "Not quite. Next time, I won't be so fragile. I might be wanted after fucking her and leaving her… But even then. I won't stop. I just had a fragile heart at this one because I just began this game, Old Man. Don't take me for a weakling. It just managed to surprise me slightly."

[Oh, how fun it is to see you fools suffering even from the afterlife. I knew this game would be fun when I set it up.]

"Bastard," I curse.

[Well then, Silver. What Princess might you be hitting next? Loy? Chester? Maybe even the Hawk Kingdom of the White feathered angelic women? I hear sex is regular there. You should try that.]

"Hm, I'm not taking any advice from you, you old bastard. But – I have decided on what Kingdom I will be traveling to next. A place where I can smash two birds with one rock." I smirk.

[Oh, and where would that be?]

"Collier. The Kingdom of Menacing Rulers."

[AHAHAHA!] The King cackles. I can't be pissed off at him for laughing. I know why he's laughing.

[Collier? Well, this will be a fun death to watch. How come you've decided to die so early, Elf?]

"Loy doesn't have a Princess. The one in Chester is still inside the Queen's womb. Thought you could trick me by suggesting these kingdoms, huh, Old man?"

[Worth the try.]

"Well, fear not. I am aware of the Princesses and Princes of many kingdoms now. Anyway, I am also aware of the ruthless shit that the rulers of Collier do. Hence, I decided to take this route. I won't feel bad even if I fuck 'em and just leave them like that. Because those are human garbage, after all."

[Well well, I can see that you're playing it safe emotion-wise then. Nevertheless, we can see how you die playing games with Collier. Good luck with your death, Silver.] The wisp disappears, alongside the voice of King Muri.

I think about the King's words. It's true, some of it. But I don't believe that running away after doing the Princess and her sister would be too hard for me.

Can it?

/// Author's Note ///

Guys, the first arc of the book is over. We'll be looking forward to like thousands of more chapters, it seems. Not to worry. I will keep it engaging, as much as possible. Now, you can comment on this chapter or this paragraph: What kind of a Princess would you like to see MC banging?

For example: A tsundere or a Yandere?

Also, note that the next arc will not be as wholesome as this. It will be completely devastating, but that will be the fun of it. It's a deadly arc set in a deadly kingdom! Hope you look forward to it!
