Title's
After my fly-slaughter which gained me another 10 XP I gained something new and very unexpected. A title.
The title's name is |Nemesis of Insects|. I gained that title for killing more than 100 insects. These titles have grades similar to levels and give stronger effects the higher the grade, and the highest grade is 5.
The |Nemesis of Insects| title gives me +5% damage against all insect type creatures per grade. For every new grade you have to kill 10 times as much of the same creature type as before for example; 100= 1st grade, 1000= 2nd grade, 10.000.000= 5th grade.
The funny thing about this specific Title was that it also attracts all insects in a radius of 2 meters, because they will instinctively know that I killed their "friends". That granted me a quite steady source of income, because I could kill them quite easily. I now get around 2 XP per day. What's even more hilarious is that I can equip or unequip that title. If I want to farm some XP I just equipped the title and If I wanted to sleep I unequipped it.
That way I made 15 XP in 2 weeks.
Sadly I got interrupted on the 15th day of my cozy way of farming.
On a warm and sunny day, I felt Tremor caused by dozens of feet. Due to my leveled |hearing| that was now level 7 I could create an outline of my enemies body.
My enemy was... a huge f*cking centipede!
The centipede was around 10 cm long and seemed to have a very strong carapace.
Luckily I have already invented countermeasures against Foe's with that height. Sometimes the two-legged had something called a guard. These guards had poky sticks and a flat durable armguard of some sort. I copied it and applied it to my own body. I had 2 vines with ,one of my thorn's each, coming out of the side, and in front I made a plate of Iron bark with even more thorns.
The centipede looked at me as soon as it was in reach and immediately charged at me like a mad boar. I got ready to stab. I only had one chance before he would run me over.
I tensed up as he got closer and closer

I stabbed with both Vines into his side and shot the thorns from my shield at the same time. He was still in full charge and barely dodged the shot thorns. To his disadvantage he tried to evade upwards which made it easy to stab his soft underbelly.

The centipede screeched as one of my thorns pierced his lung . He flung around obviously very mad about the damage I dealt on him. To my surprise he was very resilient and survived my attack. But before he could do anything to get away I used my last attack
While one of my thorns had pierced his lung the other one stopped right over his heart.
I shot that Thorn that was still embedded in his body, pushing it deep enough to pierce his heart.

I felt how I grew and in an instant distributed my stat points. I put 4 into intelligence an 1 into Wisdom, which finally enabled me to use the Augment skill. I healed myself slowly by sucking up the centipede's blood.
I only needed another 35 stat points to evolve again which filled my with excitement. But before that would happen I still had something else to do.
I had to get another sense.
As much as I liked my high level |hearing| I was still very vulnerable in case something tries to attack me from above. I was pretty excited about the whole sensing thing as well. Sadly to get another sense I had to get 2 evolution points in total which might prove difficult. To get Evolution points you hav to either get an achievement or evolve.
I had a pretty crazy idea to get another point through an achievement but that would be a very dangerous way. For now I will just keep killing fly's.
