Victoria's POV

"Hello Vicky, how are you? ". he asked with so much care in his voice

I hissed softly and felt at ease when I noticed the tune of his voice, 

"I'm fine, is everything okay? “. I asked, 

"Yes, I just want to see you for something truly important ".he spoke softly

"Is she okay? ". I asked in fear 

"Yes she is fine, actually I have good news to share with you ".he spoke up 

"Good news?". I asked, confused.

"Yes, but it involves money., just be at the hospital by tomorrow okay "

"Yeah, I will ". I replied,

 "Alright, see you then ".he ended the call.

I hissed softly in relief and made my way to the manager's office.

I got to his office and knock on it.

“Come ".  I walk into his office and saw him buried with papers on his table.

"Good day,, sir ". I greeted and stood by the door 

"Come closer" he signal his hand to me. I move away from the door and walk inside the office.

"How was your night? ".he asked, 

"Fine, sir ".  I replied

He nods his head with his eyes still on the paper on his desk.

"I have given her a one-week leave to take care of herself, while you will fill up her place still she comes back ".

I bit my lips but did not say a thing.

"There will be no play tomorrow and the next, so you can just work at the bar stand for the next two days".he spoke firmly

"Yes, sir ".  I replied, 

He stopped what he was doing and stared at me with curious eyes.

"Do you have anything to say? ".he asked, 

I bit my lips and thought for a while before shaking my head 

"No sir ".  I replied,

 "Very well then, you can leave ".

"Alright sir". I stared at him one more time before walking out of his office.

I got to the bar stand and noticed my shift was over.

"Vicky, where have you been ".

I turn around and saw Sonia staring at me with wild eyes.

"I was at the managers' office". I replied.

"Alright, it's time to go home ".

"I will have to change ". I told her and went into the locker room, I pick up my clothes and change to normal wears before leaving the locker room.

"Let's go ".

We left the bar stand and step out of the club.

"I have already called a cab, he will be here anytime soon ".she spoke up 

"Thank you "

"You are welcome "

"I heard you worked at the playroom today ".she asked 

"Yeah, and it is a long story, let's get home first".

"Alright, oh, he is here ".

We walk towards the cab and got in.

Few minutes we were home.

"Home sweet home ". I exclaim and lay on the bed with my back.

"Seems you had a stressful day ". Sonia asked, 

"Stressful as fuck, ".  I hissed softly and stood up from the bed.

"You know they are rumors going around the workers in the club ". Sonia said those words while removing her shoes.

"What kind of rumors?".  I asked 

She hissed softly and pull off her short, before sitting on the bed beside me.

"Rumor has it that you might have slept with a big DOM for you to be able to work in the playroom, ".she whispered firmly.

"That's ridiculous".  I spoke in anger.

"I know, I even tried to defend you, but it did not work ".she whispered tiredly.

"That's bullshit, I need to stop working there ". I spoke angrily, 

"And do what? ". Sonia asked, 

"Anything ".  I murmured

Sonia hissed softly and stared at me 

"You know this is the best job we both can have now., the pay is superb and we both have time for ourselves.  if you stop this work. What will be the fate of her? ".she spoke firmly.

Hearing those words from her, I knew she was right, I was in badly need of cash and this is the only job that can get me such amount of cash.

"Listen Vicky, just endure, with time we will get used to this job ".she assured me 

I shake my head and stood up from the bed 

"You don't know what I've been going through in that place, ". I spoke firmly.

She hissed softly and pull off her clothes before wrapping a towel on her chest.

"Believe me girlfriend, whatever you are going through can't be compared with what I am going through in that club, but you will never see me complain because I have a motive to be there ".she taps my shoulder and left for the bathroom.

I hissed softly and pull off my clothes.

Maybe Sonia was right, I just need to endure and everything will be okay.

Few minutes I took my bath and was on the bed with Sonia.

"What happened in Eric's father place ". Sonia asked in a sleepy voice.

I hissed softly and turn over to face her.

"That guy hates me, ". I spoke firmly.

She chuckled softly and stared at me, 

"No wolf can hate his mate.". she said those words like she was so sure of it.

"Well, I guess he is different, and he even has a girlfriend". Saying those words, I remember the tired naked girl sleeping on his bed.

"Has a girlfriend?". Sonia asked in shock.

"Of course, do you expect a man with such power and wealth to be single".

"And I think he loves her ". I murmured 

"How do you know he loves her ".she urged in disbelief.

"Because he told me, ". I replied firmly.

She hissed softly and closed her eyes.

"Well, now that you are here, I think he will have to let go of that girl, ".she said those words confidently before drifting to sleep.

I hissed softly and turn around. I checked the time and saw that it was past 2am.

I hissed softly and closed my eyes, but all I could see was the naked body of Erick, his angry looking set of green eyes and his rough voice that brought shivers to my body.

I groaned angrily and open my eyes in frustration and sat on the bed.

 I hissed softly and ran my fingers through my hair in annoyance and anger Because I knew Tonight was going to be a long night.
