Blocked once more

The following month is filled with many people coming up to talk and try and sway me but I felt little draw or interest too any of the people that approached me even if they where in the advanced class, there is 100 people in the advanced class per age and I knew me joining had shoved someone out of the current position.

So too stay away from those angered by this I made sure to only look at groups with elite people but no group of that nature approached me due too lacking information on my capability plus me being so new.

I knew that the bi yearly group test is coming where groups fight each other in order too show off their abilities and strengths of those not combat oriented.

I knew once I was in field I can either join a group or act as a neutral healer that helped those willing too come to the medical site during the exam, I already chose too be a neutral healer this time around as I do not trust or like any of the groups that had approached me so all I can do is hope too attract a more powerful group in the challenge.

I have been able to go through the 12th course in good time and can finish the 13th course so over all I am almost at the same level as the others in physical fitness of those my age, add on my close quarters combat has met the basic pass line of the school for those my age and I am doing much better then before. 

I stood in a sandy desert location that is hot and dry with no water on the planet so if you wanted too continue on you either traveled at night or had extra water that required one too get air drops but those will be heavily fought over and most will have to settle for doing everything at night.

I am stationed in a small ten person ship with basic medical supplies and medicine along with several emergency items and contact means if something went wrong.

I know it will be a while until someone comes in but I have all the beds made and the equipment set up in minutes of entering the ship, I sit at a window looking out and checking for anyone while the kids 10 and younger are set up around me as their test is basic protection of the medical location as they are to young for the rougher stuff.

I can see them walking around seriously with their young but well muscled bodies and slight pouts due too not being able to join the others yet, though the ten year old's look far more serious as they will join the test next year.

I decide too get some rest while I can before the location gets hectic, I sleep until I hear an alarm ring in the ship alerting me to a patient.

I get up and go to the door of the ship and see a boy around 12 years old with a broken arm clearly made from fighting people and not from an accident, I let the boy in and sit him on the bed before I heal the arm using my ability, the injury only happened an hour ago so it is simple and easy.

He is healed in seconds and seems shocked at my speed as I tell him I am done and he can return to combat after the required hour wait for those made to seek medical conditions are penalized with.

The next few people are simple with broken bone or basic cuts all made using simple weapons that do not interfere in healing as some weapons now are capable of, although it would have no effect on my abilities it would look suspicious if I healed such a wound with ease and no struggle at the same speed I cured all the others.

So the first day of the test was simple and basic with me spending no more then 15 seconds on any injury, though with how many I dealt with I am slightly tired but still able to deal with several more or a big emergency if needed.

The next two days followed this but the third day my first tricky one came in with signs of a blade having healing interference on it showed up and I pretended to take a minute on it, a time far pass what another healer can do but much slower then even my supposed longer time making it look like I am just that good.

I heal him and continue with my job but more people then before began too show up and I prioritized the more heavily injured for healing while taking breaks to not look suspicious, there was no true rest through the whole day.

Fourth day and no one shows up for a bit so I decide too check into the future for how busy today will be but a massive headache and a nosebleed comes instead of a vision, a reaction I am all too familiar with. I stumble too the emergency phone and call I wait for what feels like minutes but was no more than 3 seconds as someone picks up the phone.

"There is an attack on the medical center and most likely the students, this Arizona Manson Phoenix as the neutral medic calling over my ability being blocked and so an attack is now occurring we need emergency combat personnel as soon as possible."

A male voice comes over the phone, "Please be patient soldiers are being sent right now too your current location and all last known locations of students, can you describe what you mean being unable to use your ability?" I can understand their confusion at that but the fact they take me seriously despite not fully understanding was gratifying.

"I am a healer and scraped myself so decided to heal it to prevent a health risk when I tried a massive headache and nosebleed occurred and I failed to do anything."

I will have to make a scratch on my hand after hanging up but it was the only excuse I have for why I used my ability despite no students having shown up too be healed, another suspicious thins now that I thought of it and I mention it too the other person on the phone.

 "We are sending more personnel too the medic bay with you for emergency aide, we ask you continue too help out while the rescue operations are in order despite your current student status."

"Of course." Today will be a long one.
