Unlikely Of The President

Heng Huan turned to face Fen Hua while giving his thanks and lucky for him, he saw her.

Startled by their successive meetings, he gave out a puzzled look but quickly recomposed himself.

He never thought he was going to find her again so easily but now it didn't really matter. He immediately locked his eyes on the lady and only said a few words for his speech while never leaving the girl out of his sight.

Regrettably, the girl instantly walked away with Fen Hua when she saw him.

Heng Huan couldn't catch up to her but, this time, he remembered the girl's face and outfit clearly. He also noticed Fen Hua and her close relationship. Walking down the platform, he gestured his assistant to join him in a secluded corner of the party room.

" Boss, is there any problem?" asked An Chung, the assistant.

" Who was the girl beside Miss Fen earlier?" questioned Heng Huan.

" I don't know for sure but I just actually heard talks coming from the reporters downstairs about Miss Fen Hua's important friend and I searched her by curiosity," answered truthfully An Chung.

" Go on," replied simply Heng Huan.

" Hum... She is called Ting Mei, she is 23 years old and was a famous actress overseas but soon disappeared for two years and finally reappeared tonight as Miss Fen Hua's friend. I also heard from some fans that she was actually announcing her comeback." responded An Chung with a solemn voice.

Heng Huan's facial expression immediately softened when he heard Ting Mei's name but kept silent.

An Chung might act indifferent but he was actually very surprised to hear that the president, a block of ice, insect to love, was asking about a girl. For the first time ever since he has started working with him, that means since 9 years, it was president's first time talking about a woman and having such a soft expression. It was truly unbelievable and unlikely of the cool and cold president!

" Locate her." ended Heng Huan before walking away.

Ting Mei sighed in relief, lucky for me, I escaped quickly, but I hope there won't be a next time...

" Ting Mei you better explain the situation to me immediately!" said Fen Hua.

" Yes I will, I will..." replied back Ting Mei.

After a few minutes, she recapitulated the whole story to Fen Hua.

Fen Hua couldn't help but break out into a huge laughter.

" OMG! This is so you! Always getting nosy! But this time you sacrificed a kiss! A kiss! And your second kiss! How could you be so stupid!" yelled Fen Hua.

" Don't talk to me about it, I think I am going to cry but at least he was handsome," replied Ting Mei, trying to convince herself more than Fen Hua.

" Now that it is already done, I guess I can just hope to avoid him and the lady in red..." sighed Ting Mei.

" You'll have to try very hard with your unluckiness !" responded Fen Hua with a smile.

This time Ting Mei didn't reply but showed a painful smile. She was born lucky but was never fortunate afterward. She didn't ask for more but she ending up getting more the wrong way...

Sensing she touched a sensible subject, Fen Hua swiftly changed the discussion.

" Want to go outside for a breather?" asked Fen Hua in a natural voice.

" Sure, let's go!" replied Ting Mei with her usual voice.

Fen Hua knows.

She knows...she knows what Ting Mei was before and what she was after being sent to America. She was like a lifeless doll toying with her own life. Even acting couldn't pick her up after she was sent to military school. Fortunately, her grandpa and Fen Hua met her on time or who knows what she would have done...

Only in front of Fen Hua and her grandfather, she would let her guard down and express more than normal or else you'll only meet a cold and dark person. Ting Mei became a very layered person and cold human. Coming back to Korea, even herself, doesn't know if it's a good thing or bad thing.

Fen Hua and Ting Mei reached the hotel's garden and went to sit on a bench when Ting Mei heard a familiar voice.
