Time Tangled

Rosalind, Edison, and Nora Shea always thought their parents were a match made in heaven. After their mother was killed, their famous scientist father couldn't handle living without her and built a time machine to go back and save her life. That was where everything went wrong. The kids find themselves stuck in the past with a broken time machine and no way to fix it. Their only hope is their much-younger father...who immediately gets off on the wrong foot with their mother. With saving their mother and returning home hanging in the balance, they begin to worry that they won't even be born. How did a spunky aspiring novelist and a misanthropic genius from a rich family ever end up together in the first place? Can the kids get two such different people to fall in love all over again or have they destroyed their timeline for good? Read on to find out! *cover by polkadottedscrunchie*

How Would You Know That?

Izzy wasn't sure what to make of Julian. At the very least, he seemed to like Roz and listen to what she said since he agreed to take her out in the first place despite their sort-of fight yesterday.

That was one thing he had going for him. And he had made an effort to talk to the younger kids earlier when picking her up despite looking rather uncomfortable doing so.

He was trying. That was more than she had expected from him.

"I guess so," she said reluctantly in response to his statement. "Anyway, why are you offended that you're not my type? It's not like I'm yours."

"How would you know that?" Julian asked.

Izzy eyed him strangely as he parked the car and they got out to enter the barbecue restaurant. Was he being purposely evasive or did that mean she actually was his type? Impossible. This stuck-up guy couldn't possibly be interested in someone like her.
