Time Tangled

Rosalind, Edison, and Nora Shea always thought their parents were a match made in heaven. After their mother was killed, their famous scientist father couldn't handle living without her and built a time machine to go back and save her life. That was where everything went wrong. The kids find themselves stuck in the past with a broken time machine and no way to fix it. Their only hope is their much-younger father...who immediately gets off on the wrong foot with their mother. With saving their mother and returning home hanging in the balance, they begin to worry that they won't even be born. How did a spunky aspiring novelist and a misanthropic genius from a rich family ever end up together in the first place? Can the kids get two such different people to fall in love all over again or have they destroyed their timeline for good? Read on to find out! *cover by polkadottedscrunchie*

...That Isn't What I Meant

Izzy had been surprised but pleased by Julian's offer to have her come over and read. She was currently on the fourth book of her series and there were seven of them out. She needed to finish them all before the library got a few copies of the highly anticipated last book.

The waiting lists were already a mile long but she had a trick up her sleeve. As one of the people in charge of cataloging the books, she would simply make one of the copies temporarily disappear. All it would take was a few hours. She would be able to get it back to the catalogue area by morning and no one would ever know.

After dropping the kids off at her apartment (they all thought the two of them were going on a real date rather than sneaking some much-needed alone time), she sat down at his kitchen table with a sigh. Today's takeout smelled delicious.

"You're a lifesaver," Izzy said appreciatively. "Thank you."
