Time Stops When I'm with Her. (MHA)

A peculiar teen dies after being hit by Truck-kun. As the beaming lights flash into her eyes and the immense force tore apart her body, she finds herself motionless drifting off in a seemingly endless void until one day a light shone down upon her and she woke up in the body of a child. ( I do not own My Hero Academia/MHA, or the cover photo used for the novel.)

Chapter 4

(One week later)

It turns out a time quirk is very useful, especially for being lazy.

Too tired to wake up? Stop time.

Don't want to grab the choccy milk from the fridge 'cause you're too busy cuddling Chi-chan? Compress time and create a clone to grab the choccy milk for you.

Ran out of choccy milk and just want to taste it again? Rewind time, boom, more choccy milk. What else could you really need?

Some people might think this is a gross misuse of power, and they would be absolutely right. But what else am I going to do with it? I'm four, not really vigilante/hero age.

I do get lectured from time to time about using my quirk without a license, but it doesn't really matter to me as I just use them on our own private land. They are probably lectures to remind me of the consequences if I keep doing so in public places when I'm older and can be prosecuted for it.

My mother has hired some tutors and a different trainer after one tried to steal out of one of the maid's purses. I have no idea what compelled them to try and steal when my mother is giving them a great wage already for basically no work because I already know what to do when it comes to working out. Sadly, I'll need a few more years before I can start any strength training.

My tutors, along with my mother, were shocked at the speed and accuracy I showed when solving problems. They kept ramping up the difficulty of the topics until they found out they didn't have any more textbooks of a higher level with them as they were expecting to teach a four-year-old girl. The highest they had was for a sixteen-year-old teen that needed help with physics they were going to tutor after their shift today. I answered those correctly too. My mother was ecstatic at her little genius, completely disregarding how her child knows how to calculate specific latent heat of substances and chalking it up to,

"My little baby girl is a big genius, isn't she? Yes, yes she is," rubbing her cheeks against mine.

"I feel like I'm forgetting something," I muse before calling over a maid, "Cixous, do I have anything planned for today? I feel as if I forgot something important." The maid in question pondered for a few seconds before nodding, "Yes, you do, Lady Sakuya. It's the joint birthday celebration today for you and Lady Yaoyorozu. Do you have an outfit picked out, or would you like some help?"

"Thank you, Cixous. No, no, I don't. You may resume your duties." I shook my head; these maids wanted me to be more formal with them so as to help me in my time during upper society. There are too many taboos that I never had to bother with before, like formal dining etiquette etc. Like why in the fuck would people care if I eat with Continental style or American style. Luckily, being a child, still I get a free pass for a lot of this stuff.

Time to decide on what I should wear. Unfortunately, I can't wear my ducky shirt, a tragedy I know, as this celebration doubles as mine and Momo's high society debut. Most upper-class families know one another, and upon their children's fourth birthday, they can (and most often will) make their debut showing off their quirk in front of people along with many other things that are too tiring to deal with. Plenty of business deals are made during these debuts, and I don't want to mar our family's image or hamper any future deals. Even if my mother keeps saying she couldn't care less about it, I would feel terrible for doing that. I say that yet, I kept debating whether or not to just send a clone of me. That would be an entire fiasco if I did that. I would also feel horrible leaving Momo to suffer through this solo.

(A/N dress here ← )

I was finally dressed and ready, making my way to the front door where my mother stood,

"You know, you didn't have to put all this effort into dressing up tonight, right?"

"Hmph, If they want to see me so badly, I will indulge them and let them see me in all my stunning glory!" puffing my small chest out with a huff, earning a smile from my mother.

We soon made it to the car, a glacier white Bentley Mulsanne. Boarding it with a nervous expression that the comfort of the smooth ride soon quelled. We made small talk on our way there, mainly about what was expected to happen tonight. One of the other prevalent topics was the situations of quirk marriages and how my mother "Wouldn't give her baby girl to anyone!" seeing her pout at the end of that declaration was highly amusing.

After a 20 minute ride, three of which was spent driving up the driveways of both the Izayoi and Yaoyorozu mansions. My mother stepped out first and offered her hand to me, taking it. I stepped out of the car, and we made our way to the doorway, passing the security guards with relative ease as this wasn't our first time visiting them, so the stationed guards knew us.

Looking around the grand hall that was festively decorated in large banners and streamers, I saw the wait staff running around serving drinks and Hors d'oeuvres to the various guests before heading back into the kitchen to help with who knows what. A certain raven-haired child noticed me from across the room and started to run over much, waiting to speak until she got closer to her target before speaking,

"Sakuya-chan, I've missed you so much. I kept asking if I could visit you, and they said you were busy training, was that true, were you really training?"I wasn't training at all Momo. I was sitting down drinking choccy milk the entire time, welp time to lie. Pulling Momo into a short hug before replying,

"I've missed you too, Mo-chan," earning an almost unnoticeable flush of red to her cheeks but a very noticeable pleased smile, "Yes, I was training very hard to keep my quirk under control this entire week. Mommy didn't even let me drink any choccy milk too. How mean is that?!"

"E-erm, my mother says that much chocolate milk should be bad for your health. Maybe she's just taking care of you?" her meek reply came through, earning an over-dramatic gasp from myself.

"Ehh, Mo-chan, I thought you were on my side?" faking a sniffle before continuing, "I-I t-thought we were... f-friends Momo." This got her to start panicking. She was waving her hands about and slightly tearing up,

"Y-you are the only friend I have, I-I don't want to l-lose you because of milk. P-please stay friends with me, I want to play more with you, especially with my quirk we could have super playtimes. I-I d-don't want to lose that or you," she went full on waterworks, now I feel bad.

Making my way over to her, taking a handkerchief from a servant's pockets as they walked by, I knelt down and dabbed away at her tears with a gentle smile, "I don't want to lose you either Mo-chan, I'm sorry for making you cry. You should smile again, you have a pretty smile, it would be a waste to not show it off to the world." getting an enthusiastic "Un!" in return before-

*Clap* *Clap* *Click* *Clap* *Click*

Yep, the entirety of the grand hall heard us. Momo, getting flustered, moved to the closest cover to hide her face in, which just so happens to be my chest. This of course made the applause increase in both tempo and volume and the camera flashes were going off at such high speeds it sounded like a cicada. I could only stand there and smile at the cameras, trying my best to hide Momo as best I could. Looking off to the side I saw granny Chihiro with a dangerous looking smirk on her face. Both Grayfia and Miha were gushing about their daughters and how cute they were to anybody that would listen. Mr Yaoyorozu was crying tears of blood mumbling something about never giving his little girl to anyone. Gotta say, seeing someone cry tears of blood in real life was pretty morbid.

Eventually everything calmed down and we went to our table, only to be met with the smuggest faces our mother's could pull off before they started teasing us about it as much as they could, which was until they were worried Momo would faint out of embarrassment. After that the night went pretty smoothly with our introductions, only a few rich snobs trying to play matchmaker with their children towards two of the wealthiest heiresses in Japan. Safe to say, none of their attempts bore fruit. The food, oh god the food, it was to die for. The cake was the masterpiece, a decadent 4 layer black forest gateau that sent me into the mystical foodgasm realm I thought only possible in Food Wars! Soon after the cake was served everybody left their gifts at the side and proceeded to leave for home as it was getting late. I gifted Momo with a big Chi-chan plushie, mainly because I thought it would be a cute sight to behold. I was right, the scene was too sweet, I might have to go and visit the dentists after this for any cavities. Momo gifted me with a set of matryoshka dolls with the largest being Me, then her, then Chi-can. It was such a sweet thing, I actually started to tear up. Momo panicked thinking I didn't like it only for me to reassure her that this is the best thing I've ever been given.

Soon after the party and gifts were collected we moved them into the boot of the car and made our way home, being as exhausted as I was I passed out as soon as my bottom hit the leather interior.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!

Another chapter pushed out in the same day as the last one, my sleep schedule is an absolute mess, so I can only hope that when I post it it's not a complete mess.

Hope you all enjoy my work sweeties and remember choccy milk is supreme :)
