3 Chapter 2:

(Two entire years have passed.)

A lot has happened in these past two years. I learned that the Izayoi family I was born into is a multi-media giant, and my mother is the CEO. How I found this out, you ask? It's rather simple; she brought me in front of the board of directors, held me up like I was in the lion king, and bragged throughout an entire meeting about how cute I was, much to the board's increasing annoyance.

I learned my mother's name was Grayfia, which wasn't surprising considering she looks like an exact clone. I didn't get to meet my father in this life yet, much to my suspicion. There was no mention of him at all in my two years of living apart from some of the occasional hushed whispers from the maids. I'm assuming the worst and will approach the topic later on in life, you know, when I can actually form sentences.

I managed to notice a painting in one of the halls one day whilst being carried by my grandma, who's named Chihiro. It was of a man. He was donning a yellow jacket with a tight tank-top underneath and chaps with an exposed crotch. His face is now in full view, and on his head is a heart-shaped circlet to match his knee guards. He was reclining on a chair with, what I assume to be, a glass of red wine in his hand. I was stunned, to say the least. I wondered what kind of hotpot crossover I entered into because there is a genuine chance that my dad's Dio and I had no idea how to react, so I didn't. I turned my brain off and returned to monke for that entire day.

My mother was still doting on me as hard as the day I was born, and it only ever increased when my body started developing, and I could form words and move around independently. Ironic that my ability to move independently has caused my mother to want to carry me more as she doesn't want to lose her "Precious Sakuya cuddle time." I managed to walk and form words at 6 months old, which was a shock to everyone, myself included, as these were things babies shouldn't be able to do in that time frame. Noting my mother's general amazement at everything I could do, much to the maids and Chihiro's amusement, I decided to practice speaking whenever I was alone to get two of my firsts out of the way, my first steps and first words.

(Eighteen months before)

It's been six months since I was given life once more; this is easily the best thing to have happened in my two lifetimes. My mother has shown me more love in these past few months than my old family did in that lifetime, so I decided to reward her. I remembered my grandma's words from the hospital about my mother's reaction to me, saying, mama. The process was long, it was tedious, it was hard, but more importantly, it was for my mother, so I never gave up, and at the unusual rate my body was developing, I was sure that I would be able to surprise her very soon as last night, my test run was successful.

I was brought out of my inner celebrations as grandma Chihiro entered my room, "Come on, you little rascal, it's time for some food." The mention of food had me drooling, not because my senses returned from the dulling sensation they experienced in the void, but because we have professional chefs on hand at the mansion. Seeing the drool coming leaking down my chin, she chuckled to herself before wiping it away and scooping me up. As soon as I came into view of my mother, she lit up in excitement before setting the baby chair next to her,

"Sweetie, I've missed you so much; I had to deal with all those stinky directors today because your mean granny Chihiro decided to feed me to the wolves and make me CEO," punctuating her mini-rant with a stuck-out tongue I decided to Imitate, "Bleh~." Granny's eyes were twitching in annoyance, she wanted to scold this idiot daughter of hers, but there were kids and company present. The company present was none other than Miha Yaoyorozu, the matriarch of the Yaoyorozu trading empire, and her daughter Momo Yaoyorozu. Miha could only offer a barely stifled chuckle at the situation, whereas Momo was happily snacking on some thin apple slices before dinner was served.

(A/N I can't remember if Momo's parents have been named or not, so I made one up, I hope the name doesn't suck.)

Soon the maids brought in the dishes, and I couldn't help but salivate at the sight. Sure, I can't eat and digest most solid foods yet. But I couldn't care less as there was a bowl of roasted butternut squash soup in front of me, and considering it's currently winter, not much can beat it. I was brought out of my food-induced trance by the dreaded sound,

Seeing all the attention was now on me, I decided 'It's showtime bitches'. I tilted my head, looked at my mama, gave the most heartfelt smile I could muster. Seeing my mother on the edge of passing out with her phone on record, I decided to hit her with the big guns…

"Mama, I wuv u"

Chaos descended, and the high-pitched squeals of the women present eventually went so high that dogs only heard them. My grandma had a smirk plastered on her face as she was recording the entire interaction, including my mother, who is now passed out with a thin trail of blood running from her nose. Momo was crying because of the sudden increase in volume, which only contributed to the cacophony that was now happening in the dining room. After squealing in delight at the cute declaration of love, Miha decided to go over to Momo to soothe her. The little gremlin that caused this all, me, was happily spooning soup into her mouth without a care in the world before internally celebrating at the reaction she got, 'worth it!'.

(Present day)

It truly felt like I had a family, and I was going to cherish that since I was never able to before.

My mother, Grayfia Izayoi, was currently on maternity leave for as long as she wanted. It turns out when you own the company. You can take as many breaks as you feel like you need to. Seeing as she feels she needs to dote on me and love me every day, she only turns up for essential meetings nowadays and sometimes even brings me along. Could it be for something beneficial like showing me the ropes of the family business? Nope, never, nada. It was to let her cuddle me while 'working' to help ease her stress.

Whenever she couldn't take me with her or stay at home, which were infrequent occasions, she would leave me in the care of granny Chihiro. She was a gentle woman with a teasing streak a mile long, taking every opportunity to gather some 'Premium limited edition Sakuya pics,' which she proceeded to bribe her daughter with to make sure she gets some work done. She lost her husband, Utakake, in a villain attack a few years back. I'm often told stories of him and how stupid he was; however, no matter what, her tone was always filled with compassion and fondness whenever talking about him.

(One Year later)

I grew even more attached to my mother. I would love to say I'm surprised by it, but sadly I can't. The way she always cared for me and wanted the best for me. The familial love we had for one another was very prevalent. Whenever she could, she would embrace me and complain about her day with her "Stinky Directors" and "Stingy Granny," while I would always return the embrace compliment her whenever I could.

Momo's and my relationship has improved a lot, and we're very close friends and almost inseparable when hugging each other during sleepovers and playdates. Thinking about how the adorable ball of fluff in baby Momo developed confidence issues in the canon my hero timeline, I took it upon myself to help her out whenever I could.

I was downstairs in the main living room before I heard a car pull up outside; I set my chocolate milk down. (A/N choccy milk for life) I prepared myself for my mother's return. Soon the doors open and I made my way towards her,

"Mama, welcome home. I missed you!" I said, leaping into her arms.

"I missed you too, sweetie. I had to fire some people because they were big dummies. Enough of that, though. Have you been good while I was at work? " my mother asked.

I nodded my head.

"I wouldn't expect any less from my adorable little Sakuya," my mother replied, ruffling my hair.

I smiled.

She walked over to the couch, sat down on the couch while I was seated on her lap, and leaned my back against her chest. It was soft, soon I felt her arms around me, and I started fading off into unconsciousness.

"How long was she waiting for me?" Grayfia asked one of the nearby maids, Lumiere, who has long blonde hair with slight reflective properties and wears red-rimmed eyeglasses.

"Lady Sakuya has been waiting for your arrival for the past three and a half hours, Izayoi-sama," replied Lumiere.

"Uggh, she should take more care of herself. She's still a growing girl, and her quirk will awaken soon. If she doesn't have a proper sleep schedule right now, then I can only imagine what would happen when she does awaken her quirk. She would probably spend all day playing with it and forget about time. Have all the maids notified that Sakuya should be in bed by 6:30 at the latest, would you Lumiere?" said Grayfia with worry present in her tone.

"It'll be done at once, Izayoi-sama," replied Lumiere with a short bow before heading off.

Grayfia looking down upon her sleeping child could only mutter, "You should take care of yourself more, troublesome daughter," before slowly drifting off herself.
