A white ceiling with a white lamp embedded on it was the first thing Luke saw when he woke up. He repeatedly blinked his eyes to adjust to the sudden light and flinched in hurt after he tried to move.

'AI Assistance?' Luke mused confusedly.

'I wonder who's the person behind my system is.' Luke wondered. He was about to activate the new feature "Self-Check" when the door slowly shoved to the side. Afterward, a young nurse entered with a tablet in her right hand.

"Oh, you're already awake." She said with a surprised tone before approach Luke directly and asking some questions regarding his condition.

As Luke answered the questions, the nurse record all Luke answers using her tablet. It takes about a couple of minutes before the asking session is done.

"You should keep stayed at bed for now. If you need anything, just press the button below your pillow. Our team would then soon visit you." The nurse reprimand Luke as he nodded obediently.

"If you don't have any other question, I'd check other patients." The nurse was about to walk out when Luke suddenly remembers something. He quickly bawled, "Wait! Umm...Can I get my phone?"

The nurse chuckled for a moment before replied with her finger pointed at the drawer beside Luke's bed, "Sure, all participants who got admitted into the hospital had their belonging placed there."

Luke thanked the nurse and proceeded to open the drawer. He then picked the phone and turned on the phone. Shortly after, an incoming notification message was spammed the entire screen. It was all mostly from Aisyl and his friends that concerned about his health.

He soon replied to their message one by one, starting with his friend and told them that he was alright and only needed to rest for a while. After done texting his friend, he began to tell Aisyl about his current health condition.

"I'm alright, just having some bones fractured I guess?" Luke pressed the send button and quietly leaning his head against the headboard.

Luke didn't have to wait long before the "Ding!" sound came out from his phone. He switches on his phone and saw a message from Aisyl, "JUST SOME BONE FRACTURES? Yet you said it lightly as if the injuries you suffered weren't that severe. Quick, tell me what your number room is? I'm going to visit you."

"Eh? You're going to visit me? Um...You know, I failed our promise. I didn't succeed in squeezing through top 64." Luke typed back hesitantly before shuffled his hair and pressed the send button.

In an instant, Luke felt an immense amount of regret.

'Ah! Why would I send that message!! What if Aisyl really takes my words seriously and decide not to visit me due to the promise we made?' Luke slapped himself inwardly.

In a moment, his phone vibrated, indicating there's an incoming message. "Why are you still thinking about that silly promise. Quick! Disclose your room number. Or do you not wanting me to visit you? [Emoji teared up]"

"Nonono, I wouldn't dare to." Luke then lifted up his head and wandered his eyes, trying to search for room number. His eyes darted around the room and finally stopped after spotting a string of numbers that exist precisely above his room door. The corner of his eyes twitched slightly upon realizing what those numbers are. With a blushing face, he typed, "Room number 69."

"Okay, wait for me." Came a reply in an instant.

During waiting, Luke decided to use the system new feature.

With half-eyes closed, Luke mumbled, "Self-Check."

In an instant, the system enigmatic voice sounded within his ears.

'It's probably got injured severely when I got forcefully pulled onto the ground.' Luke thought inwardly.

Overall, the injury he suffered most was on the chest and his shoulders. Luke sighed with relief upon hearing that. At least, his hands and legs could still function properly for now. As for his shoulders and chest, it would probably be healed in a few days. Even more, Luke believed that a sudden recovery quest would come in no time.

-5 Minutes Later-

Sniffing his body, Luke frowned as he mumbled, "I'm not smelly, right?" After washing his face and repeatedly checked his appearance. Luke still felt somehow nervous about the incoming meeting. He didn't want to make his first impression looks bad on Aisyl eyes. Biting his finger in nervousness, Luke jumped in surprise upon hearing a knock resounded on the door.

Luke immediately straightened his back and tidied up his clothes. Combing up his hair quickly, Luke tucked his hand inside the blanket and answered, "Come in."

In a moment, a familiar figure greeted his sight. With a dumbstruck expression, they both stared at each other with wide eyes.

"No way."

"Impossible."

The two-person exclaimed simultaneously in surprise and disbelief.
