6 Chapter 5:Max gets home

Then Max went outside the gate of his school and looked round to see if his limo had came to pick him up but he didn't see it so he waited and in less than five minutes the limo came to pick him up and when he got inside he saw his mother and he said "Good afternoon ma."

She replied "Good afternoon how was school."

He replied her "Fine, a lot happened."

As they were talking the driver was starting the car and he started driving.

She asked "Tell me everything that happened."

Then he started narrating what happened in school and the mother was listening attentively and suddenly remembered what Maximus told her to do.

Maximus told her to buy some things that was needed for Max's birthday party and he told her not to tell Max anything that is happening but Max already knew about the party but he didn't know about the gifts so he told her to hide it from him.

So she got to the place were she is supposed to buy the materials she told the driver to stop and told Max to wait inside the car that she wants to get some things.

Some minutes later she came out of the market with the things she bought then she opened the door and put the bags inside Then Max asked "Is that the materials for my birthday."

She replied "Yes."

He asked "So is my birthday present there."

She replied with a smile "Just wait for your birthday to find out."

Then she entered inside the car and the driver drove off and Max continued to tell his mother what happened and when he got to the part when he said he is going to get first in class the mother was shocked and she asked "Why are you doing it."

He replied "Because I want to show him that he is not the smartest person in our class that anybody can take first."

She said "Okay, you can continue what you were saying and again when it got to the part about the competition she asked him "Are you going to join the competition."

He replied "Yes."

She said "Okay you can continue."

So Max continued and when he finished what he was saying he asked his mother "Can you please print the invitations and say it's starting by two pm and ending by six pm and say the party is being held at my house and also write our address."

She replied and asked"Sure,When should I give you."

He replied "Give me on Wednesday."

Then she said okay and they got home and Sophia told Maximus everything that Max told her so Maximus gave her money to print the invitations.

After Max finished undressing he had his bath and wore his house clothes and his mother called him to the dinning table and his mother dished his food and he started eating.

Soon his father Maximus came and started eating his own food.

All of them sat on the chairs in the dining room and started eating then his father asked "So everything that you told your mother is it true."

Max replied "Yes."

He said "Okay, that's nice."

And after he finished his food he dropped his plate in the kitchen and went to the living room and started watching TV then he started reading. Later when it was time to go to bed he went to his room and slept off.
