Long ago,the kingdom of night and day united. Once ago were long enemies, but, the marriage between a brave knight and a fair maiden,unified the people. Not long after,the fair maiden bore a child. A girl with hair as bright as the sun and hair as pale as the moon. Alas,not all were pleased by the birth of this fair child. Some, who followed the ways of the old still believed that night and day would never be one. The banished brother of the king of night. His resent for the lovers grew stronger with each passing day. Upon hearing that they were with child, his head he indeed almost lost. Upon a horse he climbed and broke the law of banishment. Traveling for hours on end, he was in the land of Volstra in 2 days. His men, who were also against the unity,followed him closely and once they were in Volstra, all hell broke loose. They looted people's homes and killed to their liking. While chaos reigned, Andros(the king's brother) rode on,to the home of the knight and maiden. A large white cottage in the middle of a green and yellow colored sunflower field, but,in the dead of night,the greenery faded and the pale white rays of the moon hit the now white tulip petals. Andros,crept into the house,into the child's room and there in the dead of night, he cast a shadow over the child's body. His cloak flew up,against the winds currents.
