Time To Become A Star!

It was a well-known fact that Yuseong Academy produced some of the brightest stars of the future. Whether on the news or printed on social media, there was always the face of a graduate student who'd hit stardom once again.

"I will be the next star." Seon Hana said to herself as she stood outside the very school that held so many famous faces. A prestigious music academy for only the most talented musical talent in South Korea. A building with both an impressive history but also one that if you managed to become a student of, could change your life.

"You're very confident for somebody that has just arrived." Hana's mother said appearing beside her. Amused at Hana's determination. "I think you should see how hard this school is and see if you can handle it before proclaiming to be the next superstar."

Hana turned to her mother, unmoved by her response. "I will be the next star and all on my own terms. Without the help of my father's idol past, I will do this all on my own!"

It was a fact that had played with Hana most of her life, that because her father was famous people expected to have her career handed down to her and she could have. She could have gotten into a music agency and even this school with his connections but she hadn't. She had gone through an average system and proved her talent alone could be her ticket. She'd gotten into this school through talent alone and so finally being here because of that fact made her both happy but nervous she was achieving her dream by her efforts.

"I have always admired your determination. You have come this far all on your own that is true. However, it gets harder from here. Your father and I both went to this school, it is not easy, Hana."

"None of this way easy. But being here, I can do this without any help."

"I'm sure you can. You have the talent, you don't need us."

Hana turned to her mother. "Thank you, for believing in me."

Her mother smiled. "Go and secure your dream at this school. It's time."

After she said that, Hana picked herself up and looked at her new academy. It was going to be a challenge as this place was nothing like her previous school. But Hana believed in herself and nothing was going to get in the way of securing her fate as a musician. She could do this and nobody would stop her.
