Chapter Twenty-One: "Ugly"?

Bree stared at the ceiling of her empty room. It was the morning after her arrival. The walls must've been soundproofed because she couldn't hear what went on outside her room.

She turned to her nightstand and her alarm clock was reading 6:57am. She called her room empty, not because there was no furniture, but because there was a closet, a single bed, a nightstand and a mirror. The room was very small, this type of room was only given to students who wished to live alone.

The room was empty because it had no memories from her, no emotion, no family

no Andrea.

It was her wish, to come live here, to study and train to become a detective, she knew it would get lonely, but originally, she thought it wouldn't be that bad because she was already used to loneliness, but to her surprise, what she felt now wasn't simply loneliness.
