Chapter Ninety-Seven: Two vile creatures

The door of Andrea's hospital room opened from the outside. Hearing the squeak from the door, Andrea rose up from the bed. She had tried to sleep but the realization of her obsession with Bree produced such a joy and guilt in her heart. She was thinking about the cruel things she did to Bree and she ruminated over what could have led her to treat Bree that way. What was she thinking at that moment, especially at her wedding and that night in the car?

Didn't she realize that the hollow feeling she got after uttering all those words to Bree was the feeling of regret and stupidity?

That was all in the past. Right now, she was going to try to get Bree back on her side. Though she was in quandary, she wanted to try to get Bree back, especially her forgiveness, but another part of her felt she was too small compared to Bree and she deserved to be punished for all the atrocities she committed against Bree. 

The punishment being to keep her distance from Bree.
