Andrea Went To Singapore

Actually, Ludwina was heartbroken when she left Andrea on the beach. She had never seen her husband cry before, and her heart was torn apart when she had to put on a cold expression and just walk away.

It's for Andrea's own good, she convinced herself time and time again.

Ludwina immediately asked the concierge to order a taxi for her and returned to Kanawa Resort. When she arrived there, she immediately went into her room and shut herself in. Her body felt very tired and she was unable to meet anyone.

The call from Miss Ria, her editor, also had to be rejected. She just texted her that she was coming to her session at UWRF tomorrow and that she wanted to rest without interruption for the day.

Andrea was actually tempted to come to UWRF and see Ludwina again. But every time he remembered how much she still hadn't forgiven him, Andrea felt hurt and gave up on her. All day long, he just tried to get rid of the sorrow in his heart by drinking wine on the terrace of his suite while trying to forget the events that happened yesterday.

Ludwina was very touched when she came to UWRF, which was full of visitors, especially when the talk session started. The restaurant used for the event was packed with enthusiastic fans of her two novels. They welcomed her onto the stage and asked lots of questions.

Until she saw Adeline Surya among the visitors...

The exhaustion she had been experiencing during the past year became unbearable and Ludwina fell unconscious. She was devastated to see Adeline suddenly appearing in front of her...

She understood that Adeline would want to see for herself what the woman married to her ex-boyfriend looked like, and she considered Ludwina was her son's future stepmother. So, as a woman, Adeline felt the need to meet her.

Meanwhile, Ludwina didn't want to meet Adeline at all... She had bitterness in her heart for Adeline. For the sake of Andrea's happiness, Ludwina wanted to reunite him with Adeline so that he could become a father to Ronan completely and Andrea could have the perfect family. However, in her heart, Ludwina still felt bitter because Adelina seemed to have everything she didn't have.

"Andrea... you have to go to the hospital now, Ludwina passed out at the UWRF!!"

Adeline's panicked voice immediately sent him back to Earth.

With a voice filled with guilt, Adeline told him what happened.

Anxious, Andrea immediately ran out of the hotel and took a taxi to the hospital to see Ludwina.

His wife was admitted to the ER and the doctor's initial diagnosis was fatigue and stress. They would do a more thorough health check when Ludwina was conscious.

In the end, Andrea sat by the bed, waiting for Ludwina to wake up.

He was dejected to see Ludwina looking so thin and sickly. So many changes had happened in just one year.

After she passed out for hours, Ludwina finally woke up when it was dark. Andrea, who had been sitting while holding her hand, immediately exclaimed happily, "Wina... you're finally awake."

Ludwina gave Andrea a gaze filled with pain.

"I don't want to see you here." She whispered hoarsely. "Please leave..."

"Adel said sorry. She didn't mean to surprise you, she just wanted to see you from afar." Andrea took a deep breath, "I didn't know she was going to Bali."

"Andrea Baskara... I don't know how else I can make you understand," Ludwina closed her eyes in sadness. Andrea was surprised to see his wife's expression suddenly become very cold. So far, Ludwina had never called him by his full name. And oh.. her next words are as cold as ice. "I. Don't. Want. To. Be. With. You. Anymore."

"Wina..." Andrea was shocked.

"I've been trying to understand, accept, and forgive you... My husband has a child from another woman. It was very painful. Seeing you makes my heart hurt... especially when I also saw her today... My heart hurts so much. It felt as though I'm seeing a family separated by my presence, and it feels terrible. I feel guilty and burdened. Ludwina looked away, "Please, leave and sign the divorce papers."

"I said leave...!!!" Ludwina finally screamed, "You've already chosen that woman and her child. I don't want to be the second choice. I don't like being the party who's hurt but has to feel guilty. Andrea looked devastated. Ludwina really wanted them to separate... She didn't want to forgive Andrea for his past mistakes...

Without saying anything, Andrea took out the divorce papers from his bag, signed them in front of Ludwina, and left them on the table.

"Apparently... humans can change. You changed in the year we didn't meet. The Ludwina I knew was kind-hearted and selfless... but you're really selfish now. I thought you just needed time, so I gave you this year of time... I didn't bother you," Andrea said in a hurt voice. "It turns out I was wrong... You can never accept that I have a child, that I made a big mistake when I was in college, which resulted in Ronan. You know very well that I grew up without a father, and I swore that I would never let my son experience feeling abandoned I did. You know how much I just want to be a good father to Ronan..."

Andrea looked deeply hurt as he said his last words. "I'll take my stuff from Singapore and you'll never see me again..."

He finally gave up and decided to grant Ludwina's wish to get out of her life.

Andrea immediately booked the earliest flight to Singapore for the following day. He was afraid that if he delayed it, his heart would feel even more miserable and he wouldn't be able to go back to their apartment to pack the rest of his things.

It had been a year since Andrea was last in Singapore, and all his memories with Ludwina immediately hit him hard as soon as he landed at Changi Airport. Steeling his heart, he headed for their apartment on Beach Road.

This would be his last visit to Singapore. There were too many memories of Ludwina in this city. He wouldn't be able to come here again without the girl by his side.

Their apartment passkey was still the same. The atmosphere in the apartment was still exactly like the last time he left.

Andrea was surprised at how dusty the place was. It made him wonder when was the last time Ludwina lived here.

He sat down on their couch for a while, and after he managed to calm down his emotions, Andrea finally decided to clean their apartment one last time before he left.

He took out the vacuum cleaner, mop, and other cleaning equipment. He diligently tidied their house and dusted all the furniture. When he was about to clean up the rubbish bin in the room, he accidentally saw an envelope with the hospital logo on it.
