Trust No Help

The school was already filled with ambulances, police, fire services and lots more

The destruction caused many injures on both students and teachers, no one died except for a man unfortunately

The bombing made top headlines within minutes with different stories about what had happened, well there was no eye witness who was present during the incident. No one except for you of course.

"Y/N!" The voice of Aunt Pamela made you rush towards her

"Aunt I need to tell you something" you said dragging her to a corner where nobody was present, "I was there when all this happened, I truly understand what is going on"

"What? Tell me!? You know I hate being on suspense, how did the school get bombed? Why is it only one man who got killed?" Your aunt asked eagerly waiting for answers

"I......."

"What are you guys talking about in the darkness?, come out" the chief said tapping his feets

"Oh chief, what are you doing here? I thought you will never be present" you stressed the last two words trying to get him away but his face showed rebellion

"I'm always present in all these!" He replied narrowing his eyes

"Anyways, how's the investigation going on?" Your aunt quickly changed the topic to end all the awkward situation going on

"Well if there was only an eye witness it would have been better!" He said looking at the dull clouds

"It will rain soon, we better get going home!" You told the chief who just nodded

"Thanks for everything chief, you truly are a man of your words and really a good help, the only person I do trust" you again added those words to hear what he would say, but his answer wasn't quite a shock

"So, you trust me alot Y/N?" He questioned with an injudicious look, "well thank you, you've made my day!"

Strolling towards the car, aunt Pamela wasn't at peace with the face she wore.....

"Aunt are you doing okay?" concern was in your words when you asked her

"Is it every school you go to that something bad must occur? Can't you have a school where friends will be, smily faces? Now, I have to change your school... Again" she didn't sound angry but sounded tired and frustrated

"I'm sorry aunt, if I had not ran away in the first place..."

"No don't say that Y/N, don't be sorry for doing something good, it was a right decision but not the planned one" she smiled warmly hugging you tight

"Okay, let's go home" you ran towards the car which your aunt parked far from the school

"Wait for me!" Your aunt said rushing passing a man who sat down sipping coffee

"I love my job when people don't suspect" he mumbled the words taking another sip.
