Once the vision truly ended, I found myself in a foreign space. And there was a slight throbbing inside of my head, almost like there was more than the vision wanted me to see. Despite that, I decided that for the time being I would ignore the slight pain and wonder about this place.

The bed I found myself in was much smaller than the one I had at home, so I almost instantly came to terms with not being at home. As I wandered through the narrow halls, I began trying to digest what it was that I had just remembered.

After all, I had just learned that the man who built my family had in turn destroyed it because of some petty goal of his, now what that goal could be, I have no idea, all I know is that it's somehow connected to this system of mine. Just what was so important about having this piece of junk, in my opinion, it wasn't worth killing off your family.

'So what if you could continue to grow stronger faster than normal means, a Human life is something that you just can't get back.'

'This is coming from me, the same guy who killed his comrades inside of the forest just to gain another level, am I somehow becoming just like that man?'

'No, his and my reasons just don't align. The world back then didn't have a beast trying to kill off Humans, there was no real need for power other than self-defense or sports.'

'Plus, back in the Center Spawn, they didn't even treat me even close to an alley, only as someone else who would be taking more of their gains. However, why was it that I killed them, was it because they treated me poorly or for power, there's no real good answer.'

'But if I had to pick one, then I would go for power, because who cares what mere strangers think about them, I didn't, and still don't now. So I guess we are similar… No, I'm walking my path, I need power because I want to protect my family, where he made power at the cost of destroying his family. We are different and we always will be.'

'Also the first time inside the alleyway wasn't my fault, I was outmatched, and overwhelmed with numbers. Messing with their emotions was the only thing I could do, and I won't take credit for their deaths, because I only put one of them to rest, even if it was painful, it would have still been better than letting him bleed to death.'

'So why do I feel like I was wrong, what did I do wrong in that scenario? Emotions. I guess I don't take too kindly to having my own emotions messed with which must be why I feel sorry for manipulating my opponents' emotions but I'll need to get used to doing whatever it takes to survive, I can handle playing dirty but if one of my family members were to see me dead than I would feel far much worse while dying.'

'Well at least I cleared that up. But I still need to get something else off my chest, although I can't say right now how sad I am to have seen them die right before my eyes constantly trying to protect me, even though I would have still been saved.'

'It just goes to show how much my family cared about me, Nora included…I just wish I knew how deep our bond ran, so that I could pour out my eyes rather than holding in the pain. And just what did Nora and I promise, and how did her death break such a promise?!'

'I was only eight at the time, so how could this still bring so much pain to a physical and mentally fourteen or fifteen year old?' I concluded my thought process by dropping down on my knees and silently crying.

'I have to continue moving forward, it's what they would want for me, however I won't forget them on the way but rather I'll take whatever memories of them I earn, on my path with me.'

I said as I finally regained feeling in my legs and stood up. Then I wiped away the tears and began searching for someone.

That's when I ran into my uncle, he was seated at a small table watching tv about the latest news. And now he had earned a scar going across his face, I'm guessing that it's from this last battle, and If I'm right and what number three told me is the truth, then I was the cause for this new scar of his.

"Come, sit down, I have much to tell you and much needed in return." He spoke once he noticed my presence which I guessed was something else you could do with Ki or I had made too much noise on my way here, it was fifty fifty honestly.

"Thanks for your help with Arora, however that was nine days ago which means you've lost a total amount of one week and two days of your training. As thanks for helping me with my personal life, I won't pry into why you keep having these black outs but I already have a theory for them."

"Anyways, this place here is our new home. I know it's not as grand as the one before, however while they finish repairs on the house we will be living here. By that I mean, your aunt or my sister, which ever will be swapping places with me from time to time to not only become closer to you but so that we can save some money, needless to say, but the repairs aren't that cheap she got to more than just the first floor."

"Where will you and aunty be staying when you're not living here?" I asked once he had finished explaining.

"Don't worry we will be living inside of one of the several Golden bases you see scattered around town, but not too far downtown that's where most of the beast live, luckily the Beast Lord lives outside of the city, a bit farther away."

"Ok, but what about my training, what will I be doing in the meantime. You said that I was going to be learning how to control my life force this month, and after this month we've only got one more and a day before the entrance exams."

"I've got it all worked out, you'll be living inside of the wild, or rather the Center Spawn and on each beginning week, you'll return here and then I'll teach you more about Ki. This way you can get the best out of three worlds, first you'll gain more battle experience. They might not be Human but they still pack a punch."

"Secondly, you won't have to give up your kills because you'll be eating them to survive. However, you must learn to avoid dangerous beasts and definitely packs of beasts because there's always a certain strength in numbers."

"Also make sure to cook your food until it looks like it's almost burnt or else you'll get sick, because Humans aren't made to eat beast meat unless it's almost burnt, it does something chemically, but I forgot I'm not a scientist after all."

"Plus most of them are trying to cut us off because we somehow angered and created dangerous beasts they say, which I also believe is exactly why we can use cars anymore because that lab explosion somehow stopped them from working. And all scientists refuse to come here and check it out because of those beasts!"

'I guess he doesn't like scientists, but what's this car thing he's talking about, I haven't heard about it on the news before? It's better to pretend I understand and keep hiding these rings, I can't have him taking away my loot.'

"Now, I want you to tell me what happened to your team while you were in the Center Spawn." He asked me while staring directly into my eyes, while his whole demender began to change into a more serious one.

"They passed away painfully." I said, trying to do my best to sum up the events of what happened in the forest, and also trying not to get caught.

"So they died, elaborate further." He ordered, to which I did only stated about how I was separated from the group and managed to survive the Rank 2 Beats encounter because they had left the area, I also put my own spin on things just in case he saw the rings.

"And I think because we had fought harder while being side by side perrier that they wanted me to have their rings, or whatever they're called."

I said as I showed him the rings on my left hand.

"SPACE RINGS!" Ka'dar shouted, causing the people above us to take a broom and constantly hit it on the ground.

Yelling, "Be quiet!"
