Man-made dungeon (4)

Fall—

The rocks tumbled to the floor, blocking the path between me and the manikins.

"Got you."

「 The skill named 'Aerobic Endurance' has leveled up. 」

Nice.

My efforts were not in vain.

Though, unfortunately,

'It's pitch black.'

I sigh as I activate my skill again.

A purple buzz cooked the air.

I could see a bit more.

"Finally, it's not pitch black anymore."

I felt a bit relieved.

But I couldn't get too uncomfortable yet.

The footsteps echoed the cave until I reached an end.

I couldn't waste mana.

Especially, when I had so little of it.

Just when I thought I already had enough to worry about, another thought broke inside of my brain.

"Food.."

I was running out of it.

Would I have to rely on monster meet after?

'Dammit..'

Hate was directed at myself.

The amount of disorganization annoyed me.

But I couldn't help but try to shake the thought out.

"Huuu.."

I calmed my nerves and thought deeply.

A plan—that was what always helped me overcome mountains.

However.

'I need to think of a bulletproof one.'

That at within minutes too.

Since the oxygen levels would slowly decrease.

"And I'd die."

Even if this was a game,

I needed to treat it like I would in real life and-

"Ah.."

My eyes trembled.

"Make money."

The only other way I could do that quickly was by Streaming.

Tch!

I drove my anger into the dead end, but something unexpected happened.

"What?"

The wall crumbled slightly, but it also felt.. soft?

Was this wall made out of another material?

Jab! Jab! Jab!—

The repeated stabs to the wall broke more and more material.

I felt more light exit to my sight.

Continued and continued.

Until..

"Woah.."

A hand-sized hole was formed which I peeked through.

I smile as many ideas rush into my head.

.

.

.

'I got it.'

The plan which I would use, came within only a couple minutes.

Even if I now had oxygen to wait longer,

I didn't feel the need to.

"Now.."

I broke apart the wall and stepped through after a focused thrust.

Time to begin the plan.

* * *

Thrust!—

I broke a small hole in another wall.

At this point, I had already entered many tunnels and made small holes in many of the walls.

Already one hour it had been.

I couldn't delay it any further.

I had been playing for four and a half hours in real life, in terms of time.

That would've been almost seven hours in the game.

"Wow, this game is addicting.."

No matter the amount of times I struggled,

The thrill was too hard to ignore.

Smash—

A smaller hole was created on another wall.

That was the last wall.

"Let's begin."

I walked through the tunnels and peeked through other walls' hole.

'Usually, when you use lightning, it's too haywire.'

Due to this, you can't be precise enough with attacks—which went against my way of fighting since I relied on being perfect with my attacks.

—But...

What if I combined this with something that would support lightning?

It wasn't a thought that would appear in my head that easily, but luckily enough,

"I have just the answer for that."

I say as I hold a certain dust.

To be specific,

'It's graphite.'

I was lucky to have a cave as the dungeons setting and was glad to find graphite pretty easily.

I had plenty of it too.

But why would I need this?

"Boooooooommm!"

I voice out while imitating an explosion.

This game's abilities were about to be tested.

I would see just how broad it was.

Through the small hole, I spotted a horde of manikins and grinned devilishly.

'Time for my revenge, you bastards.'

I blew a lot of graphite through the hole which was about to be blown elsewhere before,

「 Lightning Bolt lvl.2 activated. 」

Boom—

The graphite dust and air reacted with the intense and precise lightning bolt.

The explosions knocked the manikins away.

'Got you..'

Although, no matter how precise the lightning bolt was, it's still lightning.

The hole expanded through, falling rocks down and making it useless.

I ran towards another wall from another part of the tunnel.

The alive wooden objects had no idea where the explosions came from since they couldn't sense my presence.

I blew a load more of graphite dust through the hole from another angle and,

Boom!—

The intensity of the strike this time was far better thanks to the surrounding conditions.

The process repeated.

「 The efficiency of [Lightning Bolt] has increased. 」

I continued from many other areas.

There were some holes which I couldn't use but that didn't matter.

When I looked through one of the other walls for a break, I saw many manikins passed out.

But when I was about to return-

「 Warning! Your mana is below ten percent. 」

Ah.

'I guess there's a limit to this..'

My feet stopped moving.

I'd have said that I regained most of my strength.

That's why I stretched my body, ready to take on the rest,

However.

Kii..kii.. Kiiiiii!!!—

From one of the holes, I could see the goblins finish transforming,

With other creatures.

A creature with a slender and muscular body also rose up. The coat allowed it to adapt to any condition and its teeth were terrifying when bared.

It was a wolf.

Now, I had to deal with three different monsters.

All of which were stronger than the usual version.

I dashed and struck through another wall with absolute force.

I looked around for enemies, as I needed to fight the remaining mankins,

Counted to be four left.

Swish—

A wooden object made a noise as it dashed through the cave.

I followed.

Zap!—

The swift motion pierced the head and the entire body was struck by lightning.

Three more to go.

I grabbed my spear off its head and ran the opposite way.

'I can't waste time or I'll lose.'

The clock continued to tick.

It was only a matter of time before I ran into the rest of the monsters.

"Ah!"

My head leaned back after one of the wolves pounced.

"Hmph!"

Swoosh!—

My legs forced my body to escape.

No energy should be wasted.

There.

A manikin ran towards me.

You could even say that the prey ran to the predator itself.

Crack—

An unexpected move occurred.

The round ball shape at the top hit my Chestplate.

"You even know how to do this as well?"

My armor piece looked as if it would break.

The hand of my body connected to its head and I kneaded the centre.

Crack..

I looked at the chest piece.

'Shit!'

Smash!—

Both the manikin and my undurable Chestplate broke.

「 Your armor piece named 'Tankman's leather Chestplate(E)' has lost all durability and broken apart. 」
