16 well that was easy

cold, it's damn cold.

looking over even sasuke is shivering.

it's been a day, and we found a clue, there are 9 scrolls hidden all over the place, and there are 24 teams.

we found one of the clues, some damn poem, damn samurai, all I got out of it was that It was hidden at the foot of a cliff.

"Why don't you summon one of your wolves?" asked Naruto.

"...because I don't have a smell of the scroll, they can't find it, and If I do summon one they would have to carry us everywhere, and we would be targets of people that see us, this is the third time I explained this, Naruto" I answered, tired of repeating it every 30 minutes.

going to the third cliff, I see a... chest.

what is this Minecraft?.

looking inside I see the scroll, okay time to head back.

"Okay guys, let's go, we can have 5 days of rest if there are no problems," I say, as I pocket the scroll.

while walking back, sasuke came up to me.

"hey, Haruto" getting my attention, he continued." remember when you mixed your two elements?" he asked.

"Yeah, what of it?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

"well, I was wondering if you could mix lightning and fire?" he elaborated.

well isn't that a good question?.

"I don't know, I'll need to research that, I'll ask Sensei and look through scrolls, you look at your library maybe there is something there" to my answer he just nods.

the rest of the way was supposed to be spent in silence until some team full of unknown characters from grass showed up...yeah they got destroyed.

naruto used great breakthrough and sasuke used a great fireball, the snow melted and 3 burned corpses were left.

ignoring the smell of cooked flesh, we continue walking.

after reaching the entrance of the village, we head in to meet our sensei and complete the task.

Hugh, I'm bored, time to train!

walking up to kakashi,s room, I knock and wait... and knock again, he opens the door.

"oh Haruto it's you, you need something?" he asked, still holding his book.

"kakashi-sensei, could you teach me the water clone?" I ask.

"Okay, I knew you would ask me that one day, here, the water clone, waterfall, and water prison, work hard" he hands me the scrolls and with a wave, he's gone with a puff of smoke, shadow clone?.

...I think I heard a woman's voice in there...oh, anyway, time to go.

walking back to my room I see tamari walking out of hers.

"oh hello," I said as I try to get to my room.

"ah, your back too? You're faster than I thought" she said with a smirk.

"oh, says the one who came before us" I return with a smirk of my own.

"want a spar?" was the question that came from her next.

"you know where the training ground is?"

"yes" short answer.

thinking about it a little, I do need to fight against more wind style users, and tamari uses wind style differently than naruto so no loss on my part.

"Okay, sure" and so we walk out of the inn, to the training ground.

the spar was interesting.

I did beat her but it was hard, keeping me away from her with a large area attack, and following with more large area attacks it was her keeping me away and me trying to get closer.

me being me, and not wanting to show my abilities I held off and went at mid chunin speed.

"that was a good spar," I say as I extend my hand to her.

"yeah, it was, you are a good sparring partner." she takes my hand and I pull her up.

"you should use smaller fans to fight in close quarters, with your wind affinity it would be possible" I suggest, you know we are allied and future allies if the war will still happen, so making my allies stronger is acceptable.

NO other reason.

it was getting late so we decided to head back when my stomach growled... there was silence and then giggling from Temari.

until her stomach growled too, now it was my turn to laugh, her face was red from embarrassment.

"wanna grab a bite?" I suggest sheathing my sword.

"ooh is that a date?" she asks with a teasing voice.

"...if you want it to be" (sorry Shikamaru, please forgive me) my face had a slight dusting of red, what? she's hot and strong how can anyone not be attracted.

"Dango?" I ask.

"Dango" she agrees.

and with that, we go and try to find a place where they sell Dango, we failed and had to go to a restaurant.

it's been 3 days since my "date" with tamari, and I'm walking back from another sparring session.

walking to my room I see Kakashi waiting at the door.

"what's up kakashi-sensei? need something?" I ask as I walk up to him.

"Haruto, no nothing, just wanted to see how you were doing," he said and dismissively waved his hand.

"oh, I'm fine, been sparring lately" somehow, I could see where this was going, he will tease me at any moment now.

"I see that, and with a sand kunoichi as well" yup there it is the slight teasing tone.

"...sensei, who was the woman in your room 3 days ago?" I say with a deadpan.

he gets the hint and shuts up, you don't get to tease me and get away with it.

"so how's your training going?" he asked what I suspect was the original question.

" I learned the water clone and water prison, still working on the waterfall though" I answer scratching my head.

"...im still amazed that you learn that fast, anyway, it's a good thing that you hold back during your spars, you two might end up facing each other."

alright time to change the topic, or this will end up awkward.

"sasuke wanted to know if he could mix his fire and lightning natures, you should talk to him about it," I say and open the door to my room.

"ah I see, I'll see what I can find" and with that, he was gone in a shunshin.

he was acting awkward... I was acting awkward too.

note to self: don't talk about love life with kakashi.
