Fallen Guardian Angel
Despite fainting resistance to the convincing stories relayed and shared by Nomin, Seb thought in mind some kind of strange feeling of himself too. His old friends found the same observations where they seem to be non-existing to him. It was just superseded to be reasonable after that life-changing death of his wife eight years ago. For instance, he usually hears his mother called him weird for not being a liquor drinker but now's a hustler drunkard, washes hand on the plate after meal, gurgles water in the mouth before drinking it, never loves joking, does not wink an eye after talking as a sign of approval, hates smiling and most of all does not love stargazing.
" I observed some of your gestures were that of the old Seb people are expecting of me and I personally does not feel any warm relationship among any of your family. I see them all as evil victors for successfully separating Karla and you. That's why I always oppose. When your mother wants this and that, I always do the opposite and loves making her mad, if she's already mad of my misbehavior, I celebrate like I have avenged their victims." Seb recoiled.
" Yes, we have to try getting back to who we are and continue God's plan over us. Our lives may have sentiments, broken and misplaced, but still we're forgiven through our sacrifices. I could not even imagine how I had been punished in various dark places alone and dusty, windy and thirst. I spun around but there's nobody and stayed in those places so long. When I got back, Karla has to look over me and wept for days till I wake up. It was like a detoxification process of being a fallen angel, I don't know either if the heavens counted me as one but there's a powerful being who monitors around that also protects me and mentioned that certain mission of putting things together for Seb's family. Likewise, find the old man who made the 'habak,' reunite the couple Seb and Karla together and free the fallen Angel Godem. This direct person whom I told you that currently helps me is your former boss. He said, because of you who set in to Seb's body, it didn't become idle because a pure soul resides, Godem's soul that played my role as Seb. You have sacrificed a lot and had been tortured several times by the two evil guardians trying to overrule you yet you survived despite suicide episodes. Your master was happy knowing you're getting back alone, we're almost there Godem, you strong guardian angel, keep hanging a little. It's my payback time." Nomin smiled, winking his eye.
" Thanks Nomin. I guess you sacrificed more than I do. Complying punishments was supposed to be mine, as I see it but you did it all. I may have forgotten most details of me but I am a little assured of the empty feelings before that is now getting clearer. I hope I can be of help for you to regain too." Seb explained.
" That's part of our plan." Nomin continued while chatting with Seb till lunchtime. They were able to decide if on when and where to start.
While Seb and Nomin were walking side by side going down to the lagoon to go back to the nipa hut, Seb broke the silence.
"This means a little awkward." Seb smiled.
" For what..." Nomin smiled, moved closer to Seb and put his arm on his shoulder, after patting it off.
" Hmm, I am the body of Seb but you are his soul. I'm...I'm sorry for embracing her." He closed his eyes out of shame.
"It's okay, but hope you'll not do that again. I mean, its just normal for her to be tempted to see me in you, look at us, we almost looked like identical, though I'm a little younger and more attractive than you haha! But hey, seriously, when I was separated from my body I was 20, and so I am right now. Likewise, that body I left in you is 28, while Karla right now is 26. It upsets her sometimes hmm, she feels awkward too considering she looks like my elder beautiful sister. But to me its not, she's still the woman I loved to stare till she sleeps at night. I can only stay beside and look at her, and still love her no matter where our story will go." Nomin explained.
" Yes... she's beautiful. You're very lucky Seb in Nomin."
They reached the nipa hut and Seb could not even look straightforward to Karla's eyes. He immediately seated on the bamboo floor outside the nipa hut. On the other hand, Karla covered her face with a shawl to avoid the two husbands to see her clearly. It was a wise decision for her to do it and she had been doing it for years while staying with Nomin. Despite being a soul in a man's body but she was afraid that Nomin will be sent nowhere by the elder guardian angel because of a lustrous desire are one of the grounds for being punished.
"See that, she's trying to protect both of us. Not bad. We'll just keep on praying. Try it, its very effective." Then Karla smiled a little.
"Both of you please, come here. Let's share this lunch, we have potatoes, boiled eggplant, bananas with lemon juice and a little salt on it. Seb, I don't know if you like these but there's nothing wrong if you fill in your tummy with these food."
When Karla was about to extend to Seb some for him, Nomin immediately volunteered to give the food to Seb.
"Haha...Nomin, you spoiled brat, don't need to feel that inside you, I'm trying hard, you know." And they both laughed while enjoying the food.
After their sumptuous lunch, Nomin requested Karla to start packing for they have to leave and go back to their own house. Nomin explained to her the plan that they agreed with Seb.
