Demido's Disguises

After all, they kept silent but still dizzy with the succeeding events. Karla decided all guys to sleep on the floor with their mats. There was silence that later disturbed by the crickets in a very lonely night.

" My parents were immortals... they were maybe the good-hearted angels in the past who helped me a lot. Such a mess I've been through, unknowingly these three have a miserable mission, can't believe all of these that even my husband turned out to be an angel." Karla tearfully sobbed and no one below can move nor can comfort her. Seb and Nomin could hardly sleep, excluding Godem.

" Hi all! breakfast is ready." Godem announced loudly and so they got out and pretended to have slept well.

While on the table, Karla took a serving spoon and equally distributed some viands to Seb and Nomin's plates.

" These are tasty... you both try to eat well, we need to survive." Karla smilingly said.

No one is looking to her eyes but both have eaten what she puts in. It's only Godem who just casually prepared their lunch boxes filled with rice and even have readied himself to go for work. He urged Karla to take a bath so that he can ferry her first to the office since it's almost 8:00 am. While hearing him talk, the two men around were stunned and lost their appetite again.

" You mean, you'll leave us behind?" Seb asked dryly.

" No, I thought you are unaware that it's 7:30 am, just sorting things this way. You're almost late." Godem reasoned out.

With a blink of an eye, they were done and both applied the same perfume. So they just waited Karla outside. When she opened the door getting out, she was wearing a red and black company attire with her pony-tailed hair. Her lipstick is thick and blushing the men around.

" Let's go." She smiled.

The silence took over again. Karla sat beside Nomin at the back seat then she curiously asked him.

" Are you ...mad at me..."

" No, I was just surprise to everything that are happening these days. That's why I stayed silent for a while to really understand all these.

" I see...hmm, your scent smells good, it's so relaxing." He winked on him just the way he always do on her when he tried to comfort.

They reached the workplace a bit late, Godem directly proceeded to the HR to continue the application process. Certainly, Seb passed by at the HR to follow-up the memoranda he wanted to be served while Karla and Nomin proceeded to their offices, respectively. Momentarily, Karla started to receive the piled up documents and all's for Seb's signature. While waiting for Seb to come up she gathered it all chronologically and by department. Nomin visited, brought her some snacks and seated beside her.

"Hmm...there are two employees peeping on the glass window before I came, they are suspicious. I will stay here for a while. Demido have accomplice around, I'm just concern of the documents we have to support the reports on slide presentation during the recent meeting. I hope Godem is done at the HR so that he can investigate closely with the evil's allies. But anyway, he's maybe had to spend a little time therein, such as he told me before I came that he only needs to comply the medical check-up and that he can get a medical certificate. On the other way around, anyway, Banli's helping him a lot therefore some records have been submitted early on."

" The snacks are good, thanks."

" I found that in the canteen. Good that you like it. Eat some more, I know Seb doesn't have an appetite up to now."

" He's not yet coming. I'll just tag you in my office and just would like to ensure of your safety. Which one would I bring so that you can continue to work beside me there."

" That seems to be a good idea, but it's risky to leave this office unattended. Hmm...how about Godem right now, shall we call him? If I'll go with you it must be better to let him stay here for a while."

" But the problem is, he doesn't have a cellphone." Nomin sighed.

Nomin was determined not to leave Karla due to the two persons who kept peeping Karla from the door's glass window. So he just busied himself chatting to Karla while filing the brown folders in the steel cabinet. As a help, Nomin had some cutouts for the ear tags on the edge of each folder, not bad. After a while, he senses some dark shadows passing by.

" I thought they have allowed us for a little rest, here they are again. But I can't leave you alone, we don't know what they're planning against you, and that they're just looking for a perfect timing."

Seb hurriedly entered the office and checked for Karla.

" Thank God you're here Nomin. I was very worried, you stay here for a while...dark shadows are busy checking us, they're inside the body of humans. They looked like bidders and some disguised as customers." Seb said.

" Noted Seb. Around how many are they?"

" More or less around 20. I guess it's all about the documents. How about the files in your office, are those safe now?"

" Yes, don't worry. Hope Godem will get back in here.

" Just hang around, I'll summon them to backoff."

Seb went out again but sensed no one is already staying outside. In a minute, Godem was in a hurry approaching Seb outside. Demido just left with his people. When they passed by without recognizing me, they said they can't get the lady since the other husband was with her.

" Since the three of us now are present, I guess it's clear that we have to really be cautious. Any possible reasons." Seb told them.

"They want to see the real husband to protect her, then that's the target. Hmm...so I must always stay beside Karla." Godem smiled.
