125 Chapter 119: Raymond's Goal?

"Hey, everyone! It's your boy, Noah, back at it again with another stream of Travel With Noah!"

The energetic voice echoed across the street on the outskirts of Yorknew City as Noah, a young man in his twenties, greeted his camera with a wide grin, his phone in hand to keep up with the chat.

He was currently streaming on a platform known as MeTube, which had been garnering worldwide attention.

It was a lucrative and relatively new avenue for people from all over the world to gain views and profit.

Glancing at the flood of messages in his chat box, Noah read aloud one of the questions, "Where are you at, dawg?"

"Haha... Let me show you..."

With a mischievous grin, the man flipped the camera around, revealing a bustling street illuminated by colorful lights.

It was a vibrant scene, with street vendors lining the sandy desert terrain, offering a variety of goods and treats to passersby.

"Behold the Yorknew City Nightmarket!"

He exclaimed, his voice brimming with excitement as he flipped the camera back to himself. "You know, I've been wanting to come here for some time now, and I'm finally here..."

"So, I'm going to show you guys what kind of food is around and see if it tastes good..."

With that, he set off, weaving through the bustling crowds and pointing out various food stalls along the way, giving his viewers a mouth-watering glimpse of the culinary delights on offer.

However...

Amidst Noah's enthusiastic exploration of the city's culinary delights, a commotion erupted nearby.

"Hold on, what's going on over there?"

"Is that... a person?"

"Good lord, look at the state of him! He's covered in blood!"

"Quick, someone calls for help!"

"Huh?"

Noah's attention was abruptly drawn away from the deep-fried Oreos he was showcasing as the crowd's alarmed reactions prompted him to turn and investigate the unfolding scene.

"Shit, what the hell?"

Noah's eyes widened in disbelief at the sight before him—a burly man with a wild mane of grizzled hair drenched in blood.

His gaze fixated on the man's right arm, which appeared to be broken.

"What in the world happened here?" Noah muttered, his voice tinged with shock.

[Damn! That guy must be in pain!]

[*Shocked emoji*]

[Shit, come closer, Noah! I want to take a closer look!]

[Talk to him, dawg! Ask him what happened!]

As his viewers bombarded the chat with questions, Noah hesitated, unsure of what to do.

While some expressed concern, others urged him to approach the injured man. Glancing at the burly man who slowly made his way through the sandy desert toward the city, Noah turned back to his audience.

"Chat, should I go over and talk to him?"

Noah's eyes lit up with excitement as he considered the engagement he would gain from this.

He noticed the viewers' immediate rise in interest and decided, "Alright, since you all asked me to, I'll go over and ask him what's up!"

A blonde teenager wearing a Kurta Clan robe saw the scene outside the window as he furrowed his eyebrows before turning to the man sitting on the edge of a glass window.

The man was oddly playing a chest on his own.

"What are you planning, Raymond? He's about to get back to the city now. We have to kill him before he gets in!"

They were in a tall building on the outskirts, offering a clear view of everything outside.

"..."

Raymond didn't immediately answer.

His attention focused on the chessboard in front of him rather than the scene outside.

Sakujiro and Sin stood behind him like loyal subordinates, maintaining their silence.

"..."

Meanwhile, Cassandra lay sleeping on the couch, appearing exhausted.

"...If you're not going to do anything, I'll go out and end him myself."

Kurapika gritted his teeth in frustration, his Scarlet eyes glowing menacingly at Raymond, who casually moved a pawn piece on the black side after moving up the knight piece of the white.

Glancing at Uvogin outside, Kurapika noticed a man with a camera approaching Uvogin.

Others began opening their phones to record as well.

Raymond shook his head and spoke slowly, "Relax, Kurapika. You'll see what's about to happen..."

"Seems like she was able to pull it off..."

He smiled as he looked at the sleeping Cassandra, silently reflecting on her abilities.

Earlier, when Sakujiro and Cassandra prevented Kurapika from immediately killing Uvogin, Sakujiro explained that Cassandra might be able to exert some control over Uvogin's behavior as long as his Nen was suppressed.

However, it was no easy task since Cassandra's Hatsu involved manipulating dreams and illusions.

This required her to navigate through Uvogin's memories and dreams since childhood, altering what needed to be changed.

"..."

Kurapika gritted his teeth as he observed Uvogin's unfocused eyes, "If you don't take action in the next minute, I'll go out and kill him myself..."

This Uvogin had his memories altered by the purple-haired woman at Raymond's side.

Kurapika understood that Uvogin believed they had a decisive battle which ended with him escaping after sustaining a serious injury.

Uvogin couldn't even recall Kurapika's torture after Kurapika suppressed his Nen with the Judgment Chain. Instead, he was made to remember the injury as if it resulted from their fight.

"You coward! How dare you run away!"

Uvogin suddenly roared angrily, causing Noah, who had approached him, to fall backwards onto his back.

"...W..what.."

His eardrums felt as though they had shattered, and he shook his head in pain.

"Urgh..."

Groaning, Noah struggled as the camera fell to the side, the chat rolling with questions about what was happening and if he was all right.

However....

Rat-tat-tat-tat!

"Kyaaa!!"

"Holy shit, what the fuck!"

"Fuck, run away!!"

The sudden sound of machine guns startled everyone around.

"...!"

Rat-tat-tat-tat!

Noah watched in horror as cars pulled up, their occupants brandishing guns and firing into the air.

Chaos erupted, with people screaming and scattering in every direction.

"Shit shit shit shit!"

Panicked, Noah struggled to grab his camera amidst the chaos.

[What happened, Noah?]

[Fuck! I heard a gun sound!]

[Noah, ran away!]

[*Scared emoji*]

The chat was ablaze with questions and concerns, but Noah knew he had to prioritize his safety.

"Damn it, guys, I have to get out of here. Forget the stream. My life's on the line!" he exclaimed, frustration evident in his voice.

But his attempts to retrieve the camera proved futile, and it slipped from his grasp once more.

Frustrated, Noah cursed under his breath, "Damn it! I have to go and chat. I'm sorry!"

Without hesitation, he bolted from the scene, joining the throng of civilians fleeing the danger.

The camera was still streaming what was happening as even more viewers flooded the channel.

"Ready to shoot!"

In the chaos, men in black suits converged around Uvogin, each armed with a gun, ready to confront the threat head-on.

"...!"

Kurapika's expression shifted to one of shock and realization as he recognized these people from the mafia.

He turned his gaze to Raymond, who remained composed, casually advancing another pawn on the black side of the chessboard.

"You..."

Kurapika's voice faltered as the gravity of the situation sank in.

"Are you trying to incite a conflict between them?"
