Cuttlefish That Loves Diving
This is my first web novel... And i was very amazed with the story as if i was watching anime🙂 all emotions are flowing while reading this novel, i never imagine before that i could read till dawn(4am) without my eyes feeling sleepy.. The story itself was very lively and every chapter i read brings excitements... I hope i can finish this amazing story.. When i strarted reading this i can not put down my phone (is this a bad sign😅) im looking forward for the continuation of this wonderful novel... Hopefully it will not take longer ... ✌🏼️👍🏻
this novel is not worth it. The MC is idiot... He said to the elves they are killing tree descendant by eating their fruits.. the fact is making the fruits be eaten is the tree strategic evolution so that it can spread its seeds... In the first place its not the fruits that is the descendant of trees but the seed... And the elves is even speechless when he said that... What i dont like about is there r a lot stupid argument said by the mc and the people is like speechless but as reader i know that what the mc remark can be counter becuz it s stupid but the people is like speechless instead.
A well-written novel. If you are into science + magic, this will be for you. PROS - Plots are clearly known from start to end so no random side-tracking. - Less chapter fillers. - If you are into physics, this can be considered as a new notebook. CONS - Translations not perfect. Some chapters have wrong grammar and switched names. - If you are not into science? Your head will explode with the scientific stuffs and theories.
this was a great novel to read. I have read volumes 1 and 2, both volumes were great with 1 slightly better than 2. I'm officially dropping this novel due to it not going the direction that I thought it would. anyway, here are things I didn't like about this novel: the mc supposed family, I know they kinda supported him with some food at the beginning of the story, but that was it. they didn't help the mc with anything else except being hostages and making the mc make stupid decisions to save them. the library girl, I just feel like she was not a real friend but a work friend yet the mc kinda adds her to her family list, like what?? the princess, she kinda is the main reason why he gets into trouble and I feel like he shouldn't have saved her back when they were chasing both of them in the forest. I also didn't like the fact that the mc suddenly becomes rich because of music which was not planned for. and not to forget, I've already read more then 135 chapters and I still don't know the MC's final goal.
Another great story from Cuttlefish That Loves Diving. Interesting, intelligent MC, interesting, western fantasy style world and magic system. While I can't validate the correctness of the translation the quality seems very good. The only downside is the recent instability of updates. If this is not corrected you might as well consider this project as abandoned as with the current speed it will be never finished. While I appreciate the work the translator put into this novel until now if he/she cannot provide regular updates it would be better to give the project to someone else.
This is the best Chinese novel with sorcerer main character. He is not edgy evil 8th grade warlock or idiotic clown mage, he is consistent elegant musician and magic scientist. Worldbuilding is also great: there are no strange segregation, which can be seen as pseudorealms from cultivation novels. Magician's organisations are isolated because of history, politics and religion. Only disadvantage of this story is that it's slightly short, as for me (but don't worry, ending is very decent and enjoyable, no sudden breaks or vague hints).
In all but one aspect, I loved this story. That aspect being the update cycle of the story chapters. Seems like they take longer to post vs the other stories on Qidian. Oh well. Other than that, the rest is golden. If you like magic, music, action, mixed with a modern 21st Century human, then you may like this story. Everyday I give this story my 1 stone for vote. Why? Because I like it that much. It's only 2nd to my top fave: Release That Witch. But I don't use my stone on RtW. It has enough fans for that. Overall, the first story arc was superb. Reminded me of the days of Macross, when music won the day against all odds. If you liked that sense that music + magic + modern thinking can save the day, then give this book a read. You won't be dissappointed. Btw, the MC does NOT start off all OP or broken. Well more broke than broken...you'll see...
