1 The Lady of Blood

Hey, I'm here to post the novel I'm writing...

I have written around fifty chapters, and I'm posting them here to see your opinions and see if I can get a bit of pocket money.

Here are the first five chapters...

...

In an old chapel in an unknown city, a woman was kneeling on the ground haplessly, her hands staked to the ground and her body covered in blood.

Dozens of people surrounded her, every one of them letting out auras so powerful that any normal human would have fainted immediately upon facing them.

Strangely, most of them were injured, with some of them missing arms, others missing eyes, and some with injuries so grave that they could die at any moment.

In fact, there were dozens of bodies scattered throughout the chapel, and the smell of blood was so heavy that it became nauseous.

A man walked towards the woman staked to the ground and crouched in front of her, grabbing her beautiful blonde hair and yanking her face up, revealing features so beautiful that made any woman in the world pale in comparison.

"Ana Grando Alilovic. Any last words?" The man asked with a complicated expression.

The woman looked at him and smiled, her ruby-like red eyes glowing in the dim chapel.

"I fooled many people in my life, and in the end, I was fooled too. A fitting end for someone like me."

"… Vampires and humans can't coexist. Thousands of people have died at your hands and thousands more have been killed by the ones you embraced. Now it's your turn to pay for your sins."

Ana's lips curved up in a mocking smile. She then moved her gaze through every person in the chapel, as though she wanted to engrave their figures in her memory.

"Even if you kill me, nothing will change. I'm not the only progenitor vampire, and I won't be the last either. My people will continue killing humans until the end of the days."

"And we will kill them as well." The man's voice was firm. "Just like we are going to kill you."

With these words, he grabbed his sword and put it against her neck.

"Rest in peace."

And he decapitated her.

Ana's head slid down her body, falling to the ground as her red eyes looked at the chapel smilingly.

'So it's death, huh.' She chuckled to herself. 'But not even death can defeat me.'

In the next instant, all the blood in her body boiled over.

Using her life as a sacrifice, she cast a powerful spell. The most powerful spell she had cast ever in her life.

"What is happening!?" The man panicked, and the rest of the people in the chapel became flustered.

But nobody could interfere with the spell she just cast.

She was Ana Grando Alilovic, a Progenitor Vampire, and someone that transcended the limits of the world.

She called upon space and time, separating a drop of her blood and putting a fragment of her soul into it. Then, the drop of blood broke through space, going to an unknown place.

At the same time, it created a powerful explosion that killed all the people inside the chapel.

'Will it work?' Anna asked herself with her last trace of consciousness before smirking confidently. 'Yeah, it will. I never fail.'

Then, her consciousness was submerged in darkness.
