Time Conundrum

The two divines stared at each other as their aura's rose, causing the entire Domain it shake violently. Kali, was the goddess of time and Space, so it was safe to say she was a very powerful goddesses, and a strong fighter. Nik on the other hand was not a battle oriented god. He was more of the nerd of the gods. But that didn't mean the old wise god was weak.

Kali raised her hand, and an hourglass manifested itself by her side. She twisted her arm and a massive aura burst from the hourglass and encased Nik, causing him to glitch, in and out of existence.

You dare attack me in my domain? You fool!!!" Nik roared in anger as the whole domain began to take a different from.

All the moving shelves of books suddenly stopped moving and were absorbed into the sky, the land scape changed and was like they were both in the clouds, and nothing surrounded them but clouds.

Nik suddenly teleported from the glitch and appeared infront of Kali.

"You old timers still have time to be worried about books, Pathetic" Kali said.

"Knowledge, is a powerful thing. You see unnecessary books, I see the knowledge they possess as greatest powers you could ever imagine".

"You Talk too much old man" Kali said.

She hit her staff on the air and the entire domain shook again. The hourglass she summoned earlier suddenly began to dismantle and reshape itself, everything changed until a new hourglass was formed. "Time Conundrum" Kali said.

Suddenly everything about Nik began to change. The ones bearded, tall, and older god of wisdom, turned into a younger version, looking like a very young youth, the god of wisdom notice there was a sudden change in him and stared at Kali.

"What did you do?"

"A time Conundrum. It reshapes the very flow of time, replacing it pieces. I took the current Nik to the past and brought the past Nik here, I reshaped everything about you even your memories, but of course you found a way to recover it isn't that right master?"

"Of course I did, and I'm not your master" Nik said.

The young god of wisdom finally decided to make his first move and summoned a book. The pages of the book began to open.

"It's like the lack of souls haven't really affected you that much Kali said, or have you been giving those human your Blessings all this while".

"Well, I can't say I haven't, there are some unique bunch among them. By the way, you also give them your blessings, don't you?"

"Unfortunately I do, but those things are not meant to be given our blessings before we can assess their souls. We should be taking it, not trying to find a human perfect enough to hold our blessings."

"It is what it is Kali, We made a mistake and we paid dearly for it." Nik said

"Well I'm done paying for anything, you want to Know why I brought this version of you to this moment?" Kali asked.

Nik thought of what she said for a while, and that was when he noticed something deep in his essence.

"You, you brought me back to when I was suffering from deficiency."

"You thought I would just use time Conundrum to bring you to your younger self without a reason?."

"You've began to loose your touch o great god of wisdom"

Nik felt his essence was slipping away from not absorbing human souls for a long time, despite just absorbing Ija's soul few days ago.

The god of wisdom wasn't expecting Kali to know the moment he was suffering from deficiency, but it seems his student was more smarter than he thought, but...

"You seem to forget something, I'm the god of wisdom. This is not enough to stop me" he said and put his hand inside the book . Few seconds passes and Nik drew out a sword.

"Are you going to fight me like a warrior?" Kali asked.

"I can fight you anyway you like, even the knowledge of battle is not hidden from me" Nik replied.

He raised his sword up and performed a slash,

Kali raised her had to block the incoming attack with a Time glitch, but, she noticed that her the attck was still coming and time glitch wasn't working so, she immediately blocked with her staff.

"How did you..., Kali said in shock, your attack went through my power, she said. That sword, is that the devil's Hollow? Kali asked.

"Unfortunately, it's not, I just replicated the ability with my runes. It was very difficult, but well worth it. There is a difference though, while the hollow can cut through all demonic and divine attacks at anytime and any day. Mine can only do it once in ten seconds" Nik said.

"Oh, so it's a cheap imitation then" Kali taunted.

"I won't call it that, since it cut through your attack" Nik replied.

"Now, ten seconds is up, let's see... Ah, what about this attack, I learnt it from the humans".

"Fourth sword, Heavenly drill" Nik said and performed a stab like attack.

Kali suddenly felt threatened and dodged.

Although the attack missed her, it felt as if a missile passed her side.

"Tch, damned geezer. Even learning from those pesky humans.

She hit her staff on the air again and the staff began to glow and change it's form and began to change, until it turned into a magnificent war axe

"You wanna dance geezer, let's dance" Kali said.
