The Massacre 3

Everyone turned their eyes toward the entrance once the Princess's arrival was announced. The future of the Omi Kingdom came in and was looking as lovely as her mother.

Princess Lena came in wearing an alluring yellow dress with a slit that cut from down the right up to her thigh. Her dress rested on her upper arm instead of her shoulder, showing the upper parts of her chest. Her hair was skillfully woven and adorned with different pearls, and a small crown rested on her head.

Standing beside her were two guards whom she towered greatly over given her height. But, that didn't mean they were weak. In fact, they were both highly skilled soldiers.

Everyone stared at the Princess as she came inside the room. She walked majestically and smiled at everyone who was there. Her two guards followed behind, not too close and not too far.

One was Henry Laxe, who had sworn himself as a sword to the Princess some years back, and the other was a new and unexpected face. It was Percy, one of the men from Vince's unit.

Everyone who knew the Princess and her troublesome royal guard were surprised to see the Princess without her personal guard. One person, in particular, was happier than most. Harry looked at the princess in shock and smiled. "It seems Lady Ija is not here today," he thought, and he wasn't the only one that noticed.

Normally, members of the Royal Family had multiple soldiers guarding them, depending on the situation and where they were going to. But, they all had one single personal guard. The Queen had Cain as her personal guard, the Princess had Ija, while the King's Personal Guard was his brother Orion Litinhn.

The Princess wasted no time and went on to greet her guests with the best smile she could muster. "Lady Kindel!!" Lena greeted Arietta. "Princess Lena: what a lovely party this is," Arietta said with a smile. "And I've met some of the kids, it's great the work you are doing here."

"That's great to hear. I believe I can count on your support and a donation."

"Definitely, Princess; I even brought my large purse," Arietta said. "Oh, thank you so much."

"Hope you're enjoying the party, Lord Balor, Lady Marlok," the Princess greeted the two other members of the Legacy families.

"Yes, Princess. It's amazing to see how much work is being put into our country's future. I believe with this, I can breathe easy and be assured that my child will grow up in a slightly better world than we did," Taran replied, looking at his wife's stomach.

"Oh, I'm glad you feel that way, and congratulations, by the way, Lord Balor."

"Thank you, your highness."

"May Freyja (goddess of motherhood and fertility) grant her safe delivery," Princess Lena said.

She turned to Masha, who was trying her best not to be bothered by Taran and his wife's presence. "Are you alright?" The Princess mouthed, worried for her friend, and Masha rolled her eyes in reply. It seems her plan to make Taran jealous by introducing her new toy as her fiancée backfired.

The Princess was about to say something else when the man she probably disliked the most joined the conversation. "Princess Lena, gods, you look breathtaking," Harry said.

"I believe you are aware of common courtesy, Lord Laxe. I'm not some street slut that you can talk to without caution," Princess Lena said in anger.

"Oh, where are my manners, Your Highness, you look breathtaking," Harry greeted, this time with a small bow.

"Well, that's the idea, although in your case I would prefer to take your breath away, permanently," the Princess replied.

"Oh, Princess, don't tell me you are yet to forgive me of my mistake two years ago. I believe I have apologized," Harry said, looking heartbroken.

"All is forgiven, Lord Laxe, but it's still not forgotten. Let's go, Lady Marlok, you and I have something to discuss."

The Princess smiled to the other guests around and walked away with Masha. After walking away from the whole fiasco, The princess asked again. "Are you alright, Masha?"

"I'm definitely not. I'm trying to get him out of my head, but seeing him with another woman carrying his child is infuriating," Masha said.

"Oh, honey, I'm sorry," the Princess said and hugged her friend.

"It's not been easy getting over him," Masha said.

"I know, I know... But you have to. He's married now, and even if he isn't, I feel he's too spineless for you anyways," Princess Lena said.

"Oh, great, you are consoling me when you're supposed to be meeting people out there and doing your thing," Masha said.

"Oh, they can wait. I'm the princess; I could order Henry here to tie them all down if I wanted, and he won't hesitate for one bit. Isn't that right, Henry?" the Princess asked her guard who stood still without replying or even blinking.

"He's nothing like his brother," Masha said.

"If he was, he won't be allowed close to me," the princess replied.

"You still hate his guts, uhn?"

"Very much!!" The princess replied with a grunt, making Masha chuckle.

"By the way, who's the new guy, and where's Lady Ija?"

"Oh, She had something important to take care of," The princess replied.

"More important than being here for you? What kind of thing is that?" Masha asked.

"I don't know, she just told me few hours ago that she had an emergency to deal with and she won't be able to escort me tonight, and she sent him" the Princess said pointing at Percy.

"Is he strong?" Masha asked with a whisper.

"I doubt it, I heard his entire unit was defeated by my cousin Gor".

"What!"

"Turns out putting me in care of someone who can't defeat a nine year old is Ija's way of making it up to me" the Princess said in anger.

"Wait, I have a question,"

"You have a cousin named Gor?".

"Oh yes, he's only nine years old. He's Lord Bale's youngest son".

"Really? Uhn.. I thought he only had three sons? Masha asked.

"He actually has five, Lady Arietta bore twins Twice. The last are Kor and Gor. But Kor died few months ago"

"Oh... I didn't Know that. Why didn't Jo ever mention it?" Masha asked.

"I don't know..." Princess Lena replied.

"Speaking of Jo, I heard he was deployed to the red fort. Isn't that place dangerous."

"It is, but he's going to be fine. It's Jo afterall." The princess said.

The Two spoke for a while before returning to the Party.

The Princess went on to welcome her guests and appreciating them for coming. She went further to speak of her goals for the future and how she would love for support from all of them in the coming future. Some guests were loving the idea she was selling, some where reluctant but at the end she was beginning the journey to secure her countries future.....
