Thia, a timid and awkward child, had been cursed with a powerful curse. Ija couldn't fathom how it was even possible. She stared at the child contemplating on what to do next. She considered ending the child's life, but the image of the monster that emerged from Thia's shadow stopped her. She knew that she wouldn't be able to defeat it. As Ija pondered her next move regarding Thia and the princess, she remembered the voice of Queen Vivian instructing her to ensure that no harm comes to the child.

Ija decided to protect Thia, even if it meant protecting her from herself. She whispered to the sleeping Thia that she would keep her safe.

When Thia woke up a few hours later, "What happened?" she rasped, her voice laced with worry.

Ija studied the child, searching for any sign of awareness of the curse. But Thia's expression remained innocent, untouched by the darkness Ija had witnessed. A decision formed in Ija's mind. It wasn't the time to burden the child with the truth.. Ija assured Thia that she would assist her in saving her friends, and Thia was thrilled.

Ija nodded, a silent vow forming between them. Protecting Thia meant protecting the innocent vessel from the monstrous secret it held. It wouldn't be easy, but Ija wouldn't falter.

Ija and Thia formulated a plan, It was difficult, but Ija agreed to let the Princess be kidnapped, something that she never thought she would agree to. If she refused to assist Thia at the moment, she was certain it meant doom for a lot of people.

"Do you know where the hideout is, I can just visit them and save your friends" Ija said.

"I don't know where the new one is" Thia said. they moved to another location outside the Capital.

"well, there's no time to search for them." Ija said

"what information do you have then."

"I only know my role was to lure you to an ambush" Thia said.

"oh, that's something, Thia. What makes your friends certain they'll be able to defeat me with an ambush?" Ija said.

"Their plan is full of holes she said. Except..." Ija thought in realization. what if wherever Thia led her to wasn't a place to ambush just her? Instead, it was a place to dispose of both of them.

"They probably don't know of her abilities either. if they did they wouldn't have sent her here" Ija thought.

"I have an idea. it's good but, it's dangerous".

"Since we don't know where your friends are we have no choice but to track them some other way."

A" lot of people don't know this but I have a tracking rune placed on the princess, in case she decides to disappears I can track her. She used to perform various disappearing acts as a kid so I placed a rune on her."

"Rune? What is that" Thia asked

"oh, I didn't tell you. I have a gift, a blessing from the god of wisdom that allows me to use a divine language". Ija explained

"Really?" Thia asked withstary eyes

"I can't believe I'm staring at a Gifted" Thia said.

"The god of wisdom?"

"what's his name?" Thia asked.

Ija ignored the child and continued with her explanation

"I'll track her down once we've noticed that she's been taken". Ija explained

"I never knew you were Gifted" Thia said.

"well, I never knew you were cursed" Thia thought. But just smiled at Thia

She was still very, weary of the girl.

"So what next?" Thia asked.

"We prepare." Ija said.

The two of them spent the whole day preparing for their Secret Mission. Ija Knew it was very Dangerous but she decided to focus on The pros rather than the cons.. "In the worst-case scenario, the princess dies and I lose my head. Best case scenario she lives and I lose my job. That's just great".

"What would happen if I told her I would no longer help her Ija thought". The Image of the destroyed Litinhn suddenly Came to her mind. Everything she wanted to protect all laying dead in Thia's feet. It wasn't a pretty sight. The only person she was certain could stop a rampaging Thia was Bale, and The crazy god sword was no where to be found

"I feel like I'm a hostage" Ija thought.

After making out their plan Ija and Thia left the Capital and waited outside so they would be able to react on time.

Ija told the princess she wanted a personal day off, something she had never done before. The princess was sad, but when she realized it meant her guard was finally living her life, she was excited to let Ija have her day off.

Percy from Vince Squad was chosen since the queen added him to the Princesses' detail a few days ago.

"Let's go," Ija said as they both flew into the sky riding on the mighty Iji

"Are you alright" Thia asked after they found a place to land and wait

"yes, why do you ask?" Ija replied.

"you seem quite"

"Just thinking about adult stuff" Ija replied

"I thought you didn't have any adult stuff going for you" Thia said.

"Oh!! first of all that was direspectful, you don't talk to the person about to save your friends like that and secondly, you think adult stuff is all about dating and Marriage? Wait till you're my age, and you'll find out how scary adulthood can be you spoilt brat." Ija said in fake outrage.

"How hard can it be?" Thia asked

"It's a life of making decisions, both good and bad ones, and sometimes you don't even know when a decision is good or bad you just make it" Ija said.

"Adults have a lot of problems. that's why you should be kind to the elderly" Ija said.

"I am kind to the elderly, especially single grown women who chase men away with their scary faces."

"My face is not too scary" Ija protested.

"it is, you should smile more" Thia suggested

"Why should I smile for no reason?"

"it makes you an approachable person" Thia said

"look at the princess, her smile is enough to make any man melt like wax. She's capturing the hearts of hundreds of men with just her smile." Thia said

"There are so many things hidden behind that smile of hers" Ija said.

"you wont understand you're just a kid".

"well maybe but Im sure if you smiled more you'll definitely have more suitors"

"I don't need suitors, I've got my swords". ija said

"That all-" Thia was in the midst of replying when Ija suddenly shushed her.

"What the matter". Thia asked.

"It's Lena, I cant sense the connection of my rune anymore" Ija said
