After Ija and Thia had met each other outside the orphanage, Ija had loved talking to the little girl and was even concerned about her after she told her about her fears. Although there was alot about the child she didn't know about, she still wanted to get closer to Thia, maybe she can open up more about herself. She knew how uncomfortable Thia felt in the orphanage and decided to take her out to the place and show her around. She took permission from the princess and the Palace guards. She was given a permit which would allow the girl to walk around the palace unquestioned and unhindered. After taking the necessary steps, she went to the orphanage to pick Thia up.

The child had dragged her feet after Ija woke her up and reluctantly went to freshen herself.

"Do I have to follow her?" Thia thought

*Come snail let's go Ija said or don't you want to leave?" Ija questioned

Thia thought of the suffocating atmosphere the orphanage presented to her and hastened her movement. After few minutes she was prepared.

They both left the orphanage and a carriage was waiting for them outside the Orphanage.

"That's quite fancy" Thia said when she saw the carriage.

"Well, knowing the princess has its perks" Ija said.

"Do you want to go on my Stead instead. She's much more better than this".

"Well where's she?" Thia asked

Ija whistled and few seconds later a massive Pegasus flew towards them.

Thia widened her eyes in shock, she had never seen the elegant ferocious beasts of this level before. She looked at the beautiful Black Pegasus and was tempted to touch her. Immediately her hand was few inches to the beast she withdrew her hand.

"You can touch her Ija said. She's not too hostile".

Thia did as she was told and touched the beast. It was so smooth and nice touching such an elegant beast.

What is her name she asked.

"Iji" Ija replied.

"Iji?, What does that mean?" Thia asked

"It means storm" Ina said.

"Hop on let's go" Ija said

"We'll be in the palace in a few minutes"

After they both got on top the beasts it took off to the skies. Thia at first was afraid, but, after few minutes of she calmed down. The wind blowing on her face and the sight of the capital from above was enough to take her fears away. She never thought the Litinhn Could look more beautiful from up above by here it was. A sight to behold.

"I can never get used to this sight" Ija said from behind her.

"Did you grow up in the Capital?" Thia asked.

"No, I grew up in the slums of Logas". Ija replied.

*Wow, how did you become a royal knight?"

"Well the princess asked me to be her personal guard. At first I thought she was just a snotty brat, but she proved her self otherwise". Ija said.

"You must like working for the princess" Thia said.

"How are they?, I mean, the royal Family of Omi! Thia asked curiously.

"Why tell you when I can show you" Ija said and dove to the ground since they had gotten to the Capital. She landed her stead Close to the second barrier gate. Anything closer would see her and Thia shot down from the sky.

"Lady Ija" one of the guards said as she saw Ija came down from a stead with a child.

"I thought you were using the Princesses carriage for transport."

"Plans changed Percy." Ija replied.

"Oh Ija... another guard said, you are still as wild as ever, even after becoming a royal knight."

"And you are still as annoying as ever Vince, even after you and your entire team were demoted to Palace guards you still have the guts to run your mouth". Ija replied and Vince flinched.

"You know speaking of that I tried to find out why you were all taken out from the kings security detail and found something very interesting." Ija said with a smirk.

"What was that?" Vince asked with his heart beating fast and hoping Ija didn't find out about their humiliation

"I hear you were all defeated by Lord Kindel's last son. A nine year old brat. What a joke." Ija mocked.

"We were caught of guard. If you were there too you would have underestimated him". Vince said.

"Never going to happen, if I was there The boy would have lost both his limbs". Ija said.

"Don't worry, I'm sure your entire squad will one day return to glory, maybe when a group of toddlers attack the palace and you guys are able to stop them. You'll be given back the honour you lost." Ija said with a loud laugh.

Vince bit his lips a stood aside as Ija passed and Thia followed behind her.

After walking for a while Thia spoke

"Back then you were talking about the son of Kindel. Is it the same Kindel?" Thia asked.

"Oh, so you're familiar with them uhn?"

"Well who doesn't know of the god sword Bale Kindel. Everyone knows he's strong but I never knew he had a child that young that can defeat strong soldiers".

"It was only luck, like they said earlier, he caught them off guard. He wouldn't have defeated them otherwise" Ija replied.

"Isn't luck needed in battle too?" Thia asked.

"Maybe, but at the end it's still about strength. Luck cannot always help in the battle field. "

"You seem to know alot about Fighting" Ija said making Thia flinch a little.

"My uncle and I used to practice alot, he was a soldier." Thia replied in a solemn tone.

"Where is he now?" Ija asked.

"I don't know. He left for the battle field after the war began. I don't know if he's alive or not."

"He'll be fine, you just concentrate on surviving maybe one day you'll meet him again." Ija said.

As they were talking, five people were moving towards them. A woman was walking surrounded by four people. Two were guards wearing white armour while two were beside the woman talking casually to her.

Immediately they got closer Ija stopped and bowed slightly.

"Your Majesty" Ija said

"Hello Ija" Queen Vivian replied. "How come you're not with Lena?" she asked.

"I went on an errand my Queen. I am just on my way back to the Princess now".

"Oh, alright. And who's the child behind you?". Queen Vivian asked.

"She's one of the orphans brought by the princess from Miaan. She has peaked the Princesses interested and that's why she sent for her my Queen".

"Oh, really, Come closer child let me see you" Queen Vivian said and Thia approached her.

The Queen touched Thia's cheeks and her hands felt cold making Thia slightly uncomfortable. After a while the Queen smiled.

"She's indeed special".

"Make sure to treat her well. "

"Let's go boys," she said and left with the people with her.

After the Queen left Thia touched her cheeks and asked, "what did she do"

"She checked your spirit, it seems you have a very strong Spirit" Ija replied.

"How is she able to do that."

"Well you said you wanted to Know how the Royal family are like, well there you go. She's the Queen, Vivian Litinhn. She can sense people's spirit using her own. How, no one knows. Some say it's because She's also a Kindel"

"Oh so she's related to Bale Kindel."

"Yes she's His older sister". Ija replied.

"And those two you saw beside her, are his two sons Tuk and Tanith".

"Oh, so where's the one that defeated those guys we met earlier."

"I don't know his last brat. I've never seen him before, but, if you ask me I think their family are just a bunch of monsters. Just like the crazy Wildes of Eru." Ija said
