Mission

Immediately Thia and Thena heard the mission, they frowned, each for different reasons. Thena because she felt they could have been told that was going to be their mission from the start and maybe they could have found a way to do that when they were in Miaan, she wondered why they had to ignore her trip away from the capital to take her and had to wait till she was here in a place she clearly had more advantage, and they were more likely to fail.

On the other hand Thia frowned because she had been around Ija, and the royal guard for some reason gave her the creeps, even more that she ever thought. If they were to kidnap the princess and she was there, they would definitely fail miserably.

Thia wanted to voice her concerns but Thena beat her to the punch.

"Why didn't we just do it when she visited Miaan? It would have probably been easier" Thena said.

Rex took a deep breath before replying.

"You're right, picking her up out of the capital has more advantage of succeeding, but, that's why we didn't." Rex replied and Thena looked at him in surprise.

"So that's it uhn" she said.

"What's it?" Cage asked since he didn't get it.

"Well the reason why we didn't do it when she was out of the capital was because that's what everyone would expect so there would be extra precautions. Let's say we attacked when she was out of the Capital, there would be protocols that would have been put on place to make sure she was safe and the attempt fail. In all, their guards would be up whenever she lives the capital making the mission more dangerous" Hansi replied

"As expected of the Handler" Rex commended.

"We need the element of surprise, and a clean escape too. Both of these would be thrown out the window, if we took her on her way to or from Miaan. But here, no one in their right mind would plan to take her here and that's why we need it to happen here" Rex replied.

"Everything is already in place and you two will play the most crucial roles" Rex said pointing at Thena and Thia.

"But, Thia interjected, you're not telling us everything". She said looking at Rex

"I saw the princess at Miaan and the reason I saw was different, the reason for the failure of any attempt on the princess life is not really the precautions put in place to save her, it's her isn't it" Thia asked making Rex shocked

"You, How did you know." Rex said

The others looked at both of them again and Cage was more furious since he wasn't getting what they were talking about in the slightest.

"What again?" He asked.

"The other reason is her personal guard. Right?" Thia asked.

"Yes, it is" Rex replied since hiding it was no longer possible.

"We need to take her away from the princess, otherwise, the mission would fail. Not unless we are planning on bringing one of the pillars here and that's quite the challenge since they've all been flagged in each of the kingdom, their entry would be noticed almost immediately." Rex said

"Her name is Ija, she's 33 years and she's also one of the champions of Omi. She was blessed by the god Of wisdom Nik, and from a lot of sources she's called the menace on the battle field, Ija the fierce."

"Ija the who?" Cage asked

"Never heard of her" Thena said

"Me neither" Miriam said

"Only did a couple of Days ago too" Hansi added.

"That's because you are all a bunch of kids" Rex said.

"Well kids or not, she's no god sword is she?" Cage asked.

"Ofcourse not. If a god sword is involved then this mission would have never been formed on our thoughts." Rex replied

"Guys I know we've not heard of this Ija before but I can tell you she's the real deal. I could feel a chill running down my spine, when she gazed at me in the refugee camp. I have to tell you guys, if we don't take the treat seriously, we'll definitely die" Thia said.

"It's not that we don't take her seriously, Hansi said. But if the hype is real, then how do we remove her from the equation".

"It's simple, she will help us lure her into a trap" Rex said and pointed at Thia.

Thia saw this and asked.

"Me? Why me? How do you want me to do that."

"Well that's easy since you guys are buddies not I'm I right?" Rex asked.

"We have our spy keeping an eye on you guys for a while and imagine when he gave us the report about her inviting you to her home."

"So you where spying on us?" Thia asked.

"Ofcourse, we need to make sure you guys are following orders, but, the last time I checked you were not given any orders to get close to her, so, I wonder what you where doing in her home" Rex said with a smirk.

Thia wanted to explain buy Thena stopped her. Trying to justify her actions would only lead to more problems.

"So what exactly should I do" Thia asked.

"Just get close to her first and let her trust you." Rex replied.

Thia bit her lip, she didn't expect her life to take a turn into what it was currently, and now here she was.

"We have a week to carry out the mission, you must do everything within that time frame". Rex said to Thia.

"As for the main event, this is the Plan..." Rex said explaining the role they all had to play
