Mild and Wild

In the Kindel Mansion.

Ever since Gor arrived from Miaan, he started training on how to control his curse. Normally, he would train with his father, but since Bale had left for an unknown mission, Gor had to train by himself, Not that he was complaining. As far as Gor was concerned, Bale was least amongst his favourite persons and top amongst those people he wished dead. But the damned man still had his use.

His mother was the only person he still cherished in the entire world.

After he arrived from Miaan, his mother was sent there to investigate the matter concerning the Dews.

Arietta Kindel was a Primis Investigator. The special Police unit assigned to police and investigate the highest level of crimes. Especially when it concerns high ranking members of the society.

The unit consists of the most smartest and intuitive people. Whenever a Primis Investigator goes to investigate a crime. They were usually accompanied by two Captain ranked soldiers that would help them, in case the culprit proved strong headed.

In Primis Kindel's case she was accompanied by two of her personal maids.

During her investigation in Miaan, she had discovered Gor had messed up by showing his face to some people and using his Curse which lead to the death of three people, all which were nobles, and injured more.

Ofcourse she wasn't going to let her son take the fall for it. Good thing she had the perfect culprit to blame everything. She brilliantly took all the evidence and made sure no matter how anyone traced it, everything would go back to Larry Dew being the one that committed all the crime. Afterall, he did commit the Lion share of it. Every other thing fell in place since Larry Dew had been taken by King Jai. Also, everyone already knew he was the culprit so, the Mysterious little boy most people mentioned, became a secondary person of interest.

The lies Gor told to the police men were only enough to count it as them falling for a kids prank.

After she was done with the investigation she returned to Litinhn

After she returned Gor went on to see his mother.

He wanted to know what happened and if anyone got hurt and a result of his actions. He wanted to know if it was worth it to risk hurting others in other to expose Larry Dew like he did.

Arietta Kindel was settling down when she heard a knock on her door.

"Come in" she said from inside and Gor walked in.

"Hi Mom" he greeted.

"How was the investigation?" he asked with a forced smile.

"Is that what you really want to know?" his mother asked.

"Well.." Gor stared down for a while.

Arietta got closer to Gor and held his face up.

"Three people died when you used your Curse to bring down the dance floor and expose Larry Dew. One more died when he came out and I'm sure many more would have died if you didn't expose him like that, but, you need to know this".

"You made the right call. It wasn't easy on you either, but if you didn't do it, I'm sure things would have gotten worse in Miaan by now." Arietta said to Gor and it was a lie.

If Gor had not intervened, she was sure Ija would have exposed Larry and no one would have died. But, she already lost one child. This time she was going to protect Gor, even if it was from himself. She knew what it meant to summon a curse and she hated to admit but anytime she saw Gor. It was as if she was looking at another Larry Dew. Something she would never let happen.

"From now on, I'm going to shield you from anyone and everyone, even him" she thought clenching her fist.

After hearing what his mother said Gor didn't feel better one bit, he felt worse. He saw himself being limited in strength.

"Dammit, I'm still weak".

"Maybe if I was strong enough I would have won. I'm still not strong enough". He thought.

In his thoughts he remembered something, and decided to try it out maybe it would work.

Gor left the Mansion and went out to train his curse.

Since he was training on his curse, he used the usual secluded spot to train so he won't hurt anyone if he loses control. Anytime Gor tried controlling his curse, he would either lose control or pass out. And even he manages to hold on for a while, the curse on last for few seconds and after that, he passes out or lose control.

Thinking back to all the time he had trained with his curse, Gor decided to train again, but this time with a goal in mind. He wanted to know what the voice in his head was. He had clearly heard a mysterious voice twice. The first time was his first training with Bale and the second was when he met Thia. Gor remembered the little devil and his body shivered on instinct.

"I never want to be around her again". He thought.

Gor got in a meditative pose and closed his eyes, his goal was to hear the voice inside his curse. Thinking of the times he had heard the voice,he knew it had nothing to do with whether he was using his ability or no. It was something that was part of his curse and that means it was part of him.

"Let's see if it can make me stronger" Gor thought as he was meditating

He kept up with the pose for over ten minutes and still nothing was happening. He decided to use a different approach, bringing out his rage a bit and only lingering for a while before stopping so he won't lose control or pass out, but still, he heard only silence.

After some trials and miss. He tried to remember more details about the time he heard the voice and that's when it clicked.

The first time he heard the voice, he was sure the voice said something, before he lost control.

"What did it say?" Gor thought.

"Was it about me or the curse?"

After thinking for a while he was still unable to remember. Seeing that he was getting no where, Gor decided to try another thing. He remember he was trying to focus on his rage the first time it had happened. That was the way Gor knew how to summon his curse but, the difference between other times and that time was, he had never gone as deep as he went when trying to focus on his rage. Gor knew he was angry at Bale, but that was not the anger he focused on that day. Seeing this, Gor began to meditate again, this time focusing on the rage he felt, not towards Bale, but towards himself.

1 second passed: Gor began to feel something growing inside him

4 seconds passed: the feeling became more heavier and he was feeling his curse building up

10 seconds passed: The burning feeling suddenly became cool

11 Seconds passed: the cool feeling turned to a fierce and intense flame.

12 seconds passed: The flames become a burning inferno

14 seconds passed: The inferno became a sea of raging flames.

Gor suddenly felt his surrounding becoming so cold and his throat became dry and his skin began to crawl. His muscles were tense and it was as if the weight of a mountain was upon him. Gor tried to open his eyes but it kept itself shut as if it was screaming to it's owner not to let it out.

20 Second passed: Gor finally heard the scariest voice he had heard in his entire life. "Hello Gor Kindel" Ares said.
