Gor was walking to his father's office after he had sent for him a while ago. Bale and Gor had been training together for a while and although Bale wasn't teaching him anything new, their spars were enough to make the young lad more stronger than he was before. Gor walked to his father's office with an angry expression since he was with his mom when he had been summoned. At first he wanted to ignore Bale's summon but his mother convinced him otherwise.

Standing in front of Bale's personal office Gor knocked.

"Come in" Bale's voice called out from behind the door.

Gor went in and he saw his Father standing, while going through some of the documents he had kept neatly on the shelf.

"Sit" Bale commanded without throwing a glance at Gor.

"What do you want"? Gor asked ignoring Bale's order.

"Sit down boy, I have no time for you silly attitude" Bale said again

Gor pouted for a bit before taking a sit.

"What do you want old man?" He said again.

"I've got a mission for you."

"Mission"? Gor asked with a confused voice. Ever since Jut he didn't think his father would bother sending him on a mission again.

"What? Killing Kor wasn't enough for you now you plan on sending me to my death too?" Gor said.

"It's a simple excort mission". Bale said ignoring Gor's childish comments.

"All you have to do is watch over someone from the shadows, without being detected".

"Uhn? Who, why"? Gor looked at Bale with a confused look.

"The princess, she would be traveling to one of the refugee camps stationed at Miaan. As you know the civil war in Wize has left alot of people without a home, so she'll be visiting the camp in order to show the royal family full support to anyone seeking a sanctuary in Omi".

"Can't the Lord in charge of Miaan do that"? Gor asked.

"He's not a part of the royal family now is he? That not all, as you know there are several orphans in the camp so the princess will be taking a bunch of them down to the capital to ease their burdens and bring them to the orphanage she runs in the capital".

"So, why do you want me to watch her from the shadows. Do you think she's going to be attacked?".

"Ofcourse there's always a chance that she could be attacked, for many reasons I can say. The reason why I want you to watch is not because the princess might be attacked, do you think the royal guard can't handle things if she was attacked. I want you to watch everyone else around the princess, that's why I'll telling you to watch under the shadows. There is a chance that Eru have sent some children spies into the Kingdom as part of orphans of war. So I want you to particularly keep an eye out for the kids she will be bringing". Bale said.

"Is there any chance that one of the kids might attack the princess". Gor asked.

"It's possible, but there's nothing to gain from that, at least not yet. The princess death is not going to affect the civil war in wize in any way. It will be better to use her to get into the Kingdom rather than kill her". Bale said.

"So what should I do if there are any suspicious kids amongst them?".

"Nothing" Bale replied.

"Just Identify anyone suspicious and report back to me. I'll handle the rest".

"You are not going to kill a bunch of kids now, are you?" Gor asked.

"And if I say yes, will you compromise the safety of the entire kingdom, just to save some kids from another Nation"?

Gor thought for a while before speaking.

"You really have something against Kids old man. It's very weird".

"I'm not going to kill the kids, they have their use" Bale finally said.

"Now, here's everything you need concerning the princesses travels". Bale said handing over a scroll to Gor.

Gor checked the contents before walking out...

"And Gor, if in anyway you are found, either by the guards or by the spies, you will be punished when you get back. Is that clear"?

Gor ignored Bale and walked out.

According to The document the princess would be traveling in two days time, I have a while to prepare Gor thought as he went his way.

The day finally came and Gor made his way to the location the princess and her entourage would be passing through. He would start trailing them from there. Since the princess would be bringing some of the Kids back to the capital, it was best for them to travel on land instead of flying.

After waiting for like three hours Gor finally spotted the carriage coming. There were three carriages in total and it was difficult to tell which one carried the princess. The royal guards, guarding the princess totalled twelve. Gor didn't need a second look to be able to tell that they were well armed and were strong. For some reason his eyes kept on looking at the person beside the first carriage, she had dark skin, short hair and a scar on her lower lip.

"She must be the one in charge" Gor thought. It wasn't because she was in front or anything, but amongst all the other guards, she gave Gor the creeps the most. The journey to Miaan was going to take three days with they way they were traveling and Gor had brought enough supply to carry him on till then after which he'll restock in Miaan for the journey back. The only thing Gor was worried about was boredom. After the first two days Gor was already getting a bit bored watching as they journeyed. The princess would only come out when it was time to take a break or when she wanted to use the bathroom. Although they also met Other traveler, there was nothing interesting happening to quench his boredom. Finally on the last day they arrived safely at Miaan. Gor immediately detached himself from the surveillance and sneaked into Miaan. He already knew the camp they were visiting but not before the princess made a stop to visit the Lord of Miaan. So, since there was nothing to really surveille other than bunch of nobles sucking up to a royal. He went ahead to watch over the camp.
