3. The Father and Son

After getting home Ken immediately goes into the training room in his Home, the Toshaka Family is a martial arts family with a deep background.

they actually have a dojos Far from home but His Father only goes there once in a while to overseer the progress the disciple.

"You are back Ken, quite early and quite surprising seeing you in the training ground" Said Ken's Father.

"Yes Father, I just had some feeling to practice and I want to try training swordsmanship" Said Ken.

"Swordsmanship? You understand that the Toshaka is hailed for its dual bladed weapon right? isn't a bit of waste?" Said His Father.

"Waste or not is not decided yet until the weilder proof himself using the arts" Said Ken with a determined eyes.

"Well said, take the wood sword in the back, lets have a little spar shall we, by then I will know how to teach you" Said his Father .

'should I hold my self back so that he doesn't get surprised? or should I let my self be called genius?' Thought Ken before answering Simple yes to his Father.

Unknown to Ken that his Father is someone who battle Sairog into a stalemate Meet Azazel and get his interest, A human who ascend into the Supernatural.

After Ken take his Wooden sword the two of them stood face to face with his father holding two short wooden sword and Ken holding Wooden Blade.

"Give your all, this old bone can take it" Said Ken Father.

Ken Lunge forward to take the first strike, he aim for his Father Neck but got deflected with such force that sound like a bang.

Ken understanding that his Father is a strong opponent Tries again this time aiming for 3 slash in a row to the Neck, Hand and also stomach.

All of it were deflected in perfection, the speed at they move is not something that a Normal human could do.

The spar continue until what seems to be days but only lasted for a mere 2 hours, All of which Ken got overwhelmed by his Father sheer defence.

Not only that, His father, from the start until this time He did not move a single inch and only using the required power to deflect and not to attack.

The earlier thought of Ken holding him back is gone, all of that change into the thought to Hit his father only Once.

Ken with his gift from the Watcher of Immortal Body got a bit of leeway because his body have almost limitless stamina but all the work of hitting his Father which Failed miserably make his mental go down in the abbys.

He didn't take dama Physically but mentally his ambition to take on the world goes into the drain.

'Reaching the height of The Watcher?! What an ambition, with me being unable to land a single strike to an old man in his 50' Thought Ken.

"Enough, You have a great body Surprisingly, and also the technique required, but it seems you lack something" Said Ken Father.

"What is it?" Asked Ken not knowing what He lack but he Accept it nonetheless.

"Intent to Kill and experience to face someone stronger then you, and also the feeling of facing death in front of you" Said His Father.

'This.. He is right, All the time I rose trough in my original world, I always hailed as someone unbeatable, Everyone is weaker then me' Thought ken.

"Thank you for the Lesson Father" Said Ken understanding his Father Word.

Ken know that for him to reach the peak that he wished, he will face gruelling path, added that he don't know how vast the world he is living now.

He understand that he need more than A strong body, He know that maybe he Will get a chance of defeating his Father with the Gilgamesh power that he got.

But a chance is but a Chance it will not proof anything until the day he fought his father for live and death, a Fight that will never happen.

"Ken, Don't get too hung up no being able hit me, You see.. Even if you use that power that is inside of you, you will never beat me" Said Ken Father while emitting the magic and aura he held down.

'This!!!' Ken was almost passed out from the sheer aura that his Father emits, he know that what his father just tell him, is the truth and only the truth.

'This old man of mine, He understand that something change with me since earlier in the day when he asked me before school' thought Ken.

"After you gained enough experience and also something that you lack, Seek me again and fight me, if you can hit me then by the time I will teach you something" Said Ken Father.

"Yes sir, I will keep that in mind, but... How about the training area, you... Destroy it" Ken Said.

"This.. EKHEM, Get to work boy, Your mother will kill us both if she get to know this" Ken Father said.

Then the Two of them Repair the training room as much as possible and tries to hide the damage as the best as they could.

later that night after the Family had their Dinner together.

'The boy has change, I know that he have Sacred Gear but I don't know what kind, Will he awakened it before the other supernatural find out or will be the latter' Thought Ken Father.

And on a distant planes where the Supernatural dwells, "Did you decide to take your blade again Hon?" Said a man while stroking the Head of Fenrir.

~Well there us that, a Father who seems to know a lot more than he looks, Every main Character need that kind of Obstacle, not an enemy but more like a wall that seems cannot be passed
