My dance partner

I took the dress from Sakshi's hand and went to the green room to ready.

Our dance competition was running a little late because one of the hosts couldn't make it , he was supposed to start the program so our principal was looking for a new host.

My makeup was not fitting to the new dress so the make artist wiped it out and did the makeup which matches the new dress.

After half an hour she was done with her work.

our performance was in the middle so I went to back stage to join our dance teacher and Arjun.

when I was going to the back stage I saw Sakshi was coming towards me.

when she saw me she hugged me and said -" wow girl you look like a totally different person.you look like a heroine or a princess .haha girl you're going to win."

I was happy to see her react like this because I knew she exaggerated things.

Then Sakshi told me that Arjun and dance teacher was looking for me so we have to hurry.

Then we started to walk towards the venue but someone called me from behind , when I turned I saw our warden was coming towards us.

when she reached us she also told me the Same things that Sakshi told me.

I smiled and took her blessings.

Our dance teacher and Arjun also joined us there.

when our dance teacher saw me she told me to not go to the backstage because he wanted to make me a surprise for the audience so he told me and Sakshi and Arjun to stay there until he call us and he left .

Sakshi nudged me and told me to come with her, we went to a corner , then she said-"did you noticed ".

I said -" what?"

she answered-" you idiot . look at Arjun . since the time he came, his eyes are focused on you.

see still he is looking at you."

I told her -" I don't care if he looks at me or not . you brought me here to tell this let's go sir is here we have to go".

I lied to her because I don't want her to know about my feelings.

we went to backstage between the walking I secretly glanced at him and saw him looking at me without looking at anyone.

I got goosebumps just looking at him , It was like butterflies was flying in my stomach.i was blushing uncontrollably. Sakshi saw it and started teasing me.

Thank god our time came to go to the stage otherwise she would have killed me with her jokes.

The big moment was there ,we went to the the stage.

Lights were out for our entry .

Arjun came to me and asked for my hand,I gave her my hand.

we went to the stage hand in hand and stood with the hosts for our introduction

lights were on.i saw hundreds of people cheering for us I got a little nervous but didn't show it on my face.

I think Arjun Arjun sensed it and he told me -"Don't worry. I'm here ."

I looked at him and all my tension went away.

lights were out again and we took our position and when the lights came we started dancing.

when I was dancing I forgot where I was .

I couldn't see any other person only Arjun was there for me .

we danced like we were not in this world , like we were in heaven.

I didn't know when the dance ended .

when the audience started clapping the spell was broken and I came back to the world.

we went back to backstage.

everyone was very happy and satisfied with our performance.

I was very happy but little did I know what was coming for me.
