After talking for several minutes with Okuma, Ryu then called the server. "Can I have the bill, please?"
As Okuma saw the check presenter on the table, Okuma delightfully said, "Since you paid for the motel and also gave an enjoyable night, I'll pay for the bill."
Moving her body to the side, she placed her hands below the table. "Wait, my bag's somewhere here."
Unable to find it, she looked down. Gasping after realizing her own fault, Okuma showed an awkward smile as she raised her head, looking at Ryu.
"I left my bag back at the motel..."
"Huh? Do girls even forget to leave their bags whenever they go out?"
"No..." She rolled her eyes. "I told you. I. Was. Hungry."
He nodded while he placed his hand on his chin. "Okay, you were hungry, but you took your time in the bath--" He sighed. "I'll pay."
As Okuma looked at Ryu, placing the cash inside the check presented, she felt guilty for letting him spend a lot of money.
"Since we now had 'Brunch,' let's go back to the motel. Our check out time is at 1:00 P.M."
"Okay..."
While they walked back to the motel, Okuma asked, "How much did you pay there at the restaurant?"
"Ah... it's just around 1,870 yen." He then said, "The server gave me a discount since I said, 'My friend over here is starving.'"
Knowing that Ryu was trying to make her not worry about the payment, she smiled, but still with a hint of guilt.
"Why don't I pay you back when we reach the motel?"
"There's no need." He showed her a thumbs-up. "It's my treat."

He nodded. "Sure, if we both go out again."
Whilst they continued walking, Ryu saw Okuma walking with her head slightly down and with her hands clasped together.
"Okuma-san, I told you, don't worry about the payment. Since you're eventually going to treat me later on, it's already even."
[Fufu. Why do you need to lie? Just tell her you spent 5618 yen. 3000 for the motel and 2618 for the food]

Arriving at their room, Okuma immediately jumped on the bed and cuddled the pillow.

Slouching inside the bathtub, he told Lily to open the main screen.

Calling back the person, she said, "Why did you call? Did something happen?"

"I was outside eating brunch. I didn't even have my phone with me, so how could I hang up on you?"

Ryu came out of the bathroom with his clothes on already.
He headed to Okuma and asked, "Would you like to stay here until the check-out time or leave now?"
"I'll stay here until the check-out time. My friend is going to pick me up, and then we're gonna go to the mall."
"A-Ah... Is that so..."
'Should I tell her that I answered her phone when she was asleep?' He shook his head. 'It was just a mistake because she had the same ringtone as me.'
He grabbed his phone from the table; next to the television. He then placed it in his pocket.
"Okuma-san, I'll be heading out first since I still have some business."
[Fufu. Aren't you supposed to be a man and wait till the girl leaves?]
'I know. But I really have to be somewhere else right now. Oh dear, she might be waiting the whole night.'
"Bye, Ando-Kun~ See you on campus."
As Ryu took the bus back home, his heart started beating faster. Thinking, 'Can I use an excuse?'
Arriving in front of his home, he gulped down his own saliva and took the first step towards the door.
Placing the key on the door quietly and turning it, he opened the door only to see the lights inside off.
Walking while hoping no one was home, Ryu crept up the stairs. A slight and startling tingle tiptoed down his spine, and he turned abruptly halfway up the flight of steps to see if his aunt had been home all along.
With his fingers crossed, he concluded it must have been a breeze from the kitchen window. Taking a deep breath from his nose, he continued up the stairs.
Upon reaching the second to the last step, Ryu felt a rush of fear rush over him. The door of the room beside the stairs slowly creaked open.
His feet froze on the steps; he tried to move, but no use. The light in that room was on. Ryu saw the shadow pacing in and out of sight.
But then Ryu thought that if getting caught now could get things over with, why do it later?
He hesitantly asked, "A-Aunt Kumiko, are you there?"
The shadow then stopped moving. In an instant, that person rushed out of the room with red glowing eyes looking straight at Ryu. The shadow grabbed hold of his body and ate him!
Or that was what he thought.
After the shadow stopped moving, Aunt Kumiko came out of her room and immediately jumped on Ryu, hugging him tightly on his stomach. Nearly falling off the stairs, he kept his balance by holding his aunt by the waist and his other hand on the wall.
Ryu expected his aunt to scold him after hugging him, but it wasn't. Instead, her head was still on his chest. She cried for seconds until she raised her head.
"Aunt Kumiko did something happen?!" he asked worriedly.
[Fufu. Why are you asking the obvious question?]
'... What do you expect me to do? Make an excuse? No.'
Sniffling as she tried to answer, she wiped her teary eyes with her hand.
"Where have you been?!" Kumiko asked as she tried to hold back her tears. "I've been worried all night."
"You haven't called or messaged me!"
"I stayed at my classmate's house after yesterday's welcome party..." He said to clear things up.
"But why didn't you answer my calls?" Tears started coming out of her eyes. "I called you over and over, but you didn't answer!"
She placed her head against his head and lightly punched it. "I thought something happened to you."
Ryu opened his mouth but didn't manage a response. He couldn't think of anything; he couldn't say he had sex all night.
"I'm sorry, Aunt Kumiko."
Lily popped out and sat on his shoulder.
[Poor thing. Look what you have done to your aunt] She clicked her tongue. [Is that how a man treats a lady? Making her cry?]
