Ryu narrowed his eyes when he saw his partners. He didn't say a single thing about it and just ignored it.
He looked at Lily and said, "Can I have the introductory book about the system?"

"This is it?" he asked, confusingly.

Lily just smiled at what Ryu said as she watched him read the book.
An hour has passed since Ryu started reading, and it seems he's been completely immersed in it. Lily tried many ways to get his attention.
She tried pulling his hair, pinching his cheeks. She even made those annoying bee sounds in his ears, but none of it worked.
But then, Lily had a good idea in mind.
[Ehem! HELLO? CAN YOU HEAR ME?!]

Ryu tilted his head to the right and said, "That tiny megaphone of yours is really loud."
He covered his right ear with his hand, but the ringing sound still echoed in his ear.
[I tried to get your attention, but you were so focused on reading the introductory book. What's so great about it?]
"The words are so fucking tiny that I had to focus properly to read them."
He looked at Lily, pissed. "So, what do you want?"
Lily pointed towards the digital clock on the table beside his bed. [Today is the start of school, right? Look at the time]
Clock: "7:50am"

"Ahh..." Ryu scratched the back of his head. "I woke up early to go to school early..."

"8:45 A.M."
Ryu placed the book on his desk and went to the bathroom to take a bath. After finishing up, he wore his uniform and went down with his backpack.
Arriving at the dining table for breakfast, he already saw food prepared on the table.
He went closer and read the note on the side of the plate: "I still need to clear my thoughts. Sorry, I can't have breakfast with you. Good luck with your entrance ceremony."
Ryu sat down, and as he ate the egg omelet, which he could never tire of, he said, "So she isn't mad."
Ryu showed a bright smile. Knowing that he could still fix his relationship with his aunt, he would definitely fix it and explain why he entered the toilet. But only if he had an idea; which he currently didn't have at the moment.
Lily then sat on the table with her feet crossed. She looked at the plate of Ryu and then looked at him.
Seeing him eat made her wonder. [What does it taste?]
Munching down his food, he glanced at Lily and asked, "You also get hungry?"
[Not really. But w... I can still taste food]
Ryu thought for a moment and said, "Okay then." He took out the chopsticks and fed Lily a small bite.
Lily swallowed the food, and in an instant, the taste of it filled her mind and taste buds.
[Mhmm~!] Lily looked at Ryu and opened her mouth.
"You want more?"
She nodded.
As she fed her again, he asked, "So, is it good?"

Ryu chuckled after hearing her response.
He placed his elbow on the table and pointed his spoon at Lily.
"Auntie's cooking is always the best."
Ryu recollected his memories and continued, "When I was young, my mother and aunt Kumiko debated on whose food tasted better"
[That must be a tough decision to make] She swung her foot up and down. [Who won?]
Ryu laughed.
"Since I was the judge, I didn't need to lie. I obviously chose aunt Kumiko."
"And the moment my mom heard my answer, she didn't cook for me for an entire week. Though I didn't starve because aunt Kumiko was there to cook for me."

A touch of a smile rose from his face as he remembered the old times in his hometown. But it immediately disappeared when he thought of something he shouldn't have.
"So, this is the start of my college life." He slouched on the chair. "It's time to make new friends, though I don't think I'll really need one that fast."
Ryu slammed his hand on the table. "I hope there are beautiful girls!"
As he started imagining what type of girl there would be, he said "There's the library girl, the famous girl, the shy girl, and the best, the tsundere one."

He puffed out his chest and replied, "I'll try to make them my girlfriend."

Getting on the bus, he looked behind him. "Str-- Miss. Are you getting on the bus?"
As she heard Ryu, she immediately glared at him. "Do I even know you...?"
His eyes froze open. "What was that?!"
Finding a seat and recalling what the girl said, Ryu mumbled to himself, "Tch. If it weren't for your beauty, I wouldn't have even bothered to say a word to you."
Angrily sitting in his seat, he continued. "If I see that fucking face of hers again, don't get mad at me for buying something at the shop and using it on you."
