Chapter 15

Thor and the Destroyer stood in front of the Bifrost.

"My king what can I do for you?" Heimdall asked.

"Heimdall activate the Bifrost and transport both of us to Midgard specifically Washington DC." Thor commanded.

Without any hesitation Heimdall activated the Bifrost and transported both of them to Washington DC.

It was a busy street filled with crowds of people and vehicles.

Suddenly a beam of light shot from the sky and two figures appeared on the road.

Thor and the imposing figure of the Destroyer materialized on the streets of Washington.

People scattered in panic as they beheld the sight of the armored behemoth standing before them.

Thor, surveyed the chaos unfolding around him, his mind focused on his mission to wreak havoc upon Midgard.

"I hope u like my gift Fury" he said.

With a commanding gesture, Thor summoned the power of lightning in his hands, the surroundings immediately changed as clouds started to form around the city.

"Destroyer," he called out.

"Attack anything that stands in our way. Show these mortals the true power of Asgard."

The Destroyer, obedient to Thor's will through their spiritual connection, lumbered forward with mechanical precision, its gaze sweeping across the streets in search of targets. Buildings crumbled in its wake as it unleashed blasts of destructive energy from its helmet, sending shockwaves of fear and panic rippling through the city.

With each step, the Destroyer's colossal form shook the very foundations of the city, leaving behind a path of devastation that stretched as far as the eye could see.

People screamed as they saw a gigantic form of Armor similar to Ironman causing such destruction throughout the city.

Skyscrapers collapsed precariously, their steel frames melted under the strain of the light beam coming from the gaint killing machine. Buildings and business outlets were wiped from the streets as the relentless force of the armored behemoth pressed forward. Glass shattered from tall towers like shards of ice, raining down upon the streets below causing more panic during the destruction.

the Destroyer's destructive power knew no limits.

Entire city blocks were reduced to rubble in a matter of seconds, their once bustling streets transformed into a desolate wasteland of twisted metal and shattered dreams.

The sound of sirens filled the air as emergency responders raced to the scene, their efforts to contain the chaos hampered by the sheer scale of the devastation wrought by the Destroyer.

Firefighters battled the increasing flames that threatened to consume entire buildings, their hoses spraying jets of water into the seething flames in a desperate attempt to stop the tide of destruction.

"What in god's name is happening?" A person asked while he looked at the rubble that was once his home.

Meanwhile, terrified civilians fled for their lives, their screams drowned out by the deafening roar of crumbling buildings and exploding gas stations.

While all of this chaos was happening Thor was seated on top of the remains of a building.

He was observing the strength of the Destroyer.

He was impressed at the level of destruction that it caused.

His only doubt was how powerful it is compared to other entities in the galaxy.

The destroyer continued its rampage through the city streets.

"Ah looks like the army has finally mobilized, but it did take some time for them to reach here. Probably making sure the president is safe. The President is always the priority." Thor said to himself.

Thor noticed that the Destroyer was moving towards the Army's position.

He climbed down and slowly walked towards it.

As the destroyer was a few meters from the armed forces its faceplate glowed with energy as it unleashed beams of light that sliced through the air with deadly precision, obliterating everything in their path.

In a moment the gathered force with their equipment was set on fire.

Vehicles erupted into flames, their metal frames twisted and mangled beyond recognition, while the remaining soldiers fled in terror.

Thor gave the command to the destroyer to move towards the White House.

As he watched its movements Thor noticed the fluctuations in the space.

When he turned back it was none other than the Ancient One standing behind him.

She had a neutral expression on her face.

"I see this was your planned experiment" she said while standing beside him.

"Can I know what was the reason for such an action?" She asked.

"I just wanted Midgard to notice that there are other powerful existence which could cripple them with a snap of their finger. And I decided to attack Washington because it's the capital of the most powerful nation on Midgard that people think.

But both of us know there are others in hiding" thor said while looking at the clouds.

The Ancient One just stayed silent.

"Looks like your weapon will be attacking the white House now." The Ancient One pointed at the destroyer that had broken the gates of the white House and walked towards it while its face plate was ready to shoot the energy beam.

However, just as the Destroyer was about to unleash its energy beam attack, a sudden burst of energy pierced through the air, intercepting the Armored giant.

Thor looked at the scene and smiled.

"Looks like the Avengers have come to assist.

And they brought only 3 members" Thor said to the Ancient One.

Thor gave the order to stand down to the Destroyer.

Thor watched as the Ironman, Captain America and Hawkeye stood before the Destroyer.Ready to fight.
