Chapter 13

As Thor entered the grand hall of the Asgard palace, the weight of responsibility hung heavy on his broad shoulders.

Loki, his brother, once again stood before him, this time subdued by the restraints crafted to nullify his sorcery.

Without hesitation, Thor handed Loki over to the waiting soldiers, their expressions a mixture of caution and disdain as they led the way towards the prison.

"Take him to the prison I will personally judge him." Thor ordered.

As the sound of footsteps faded into the distance Thor thought about what to do with Loki.

'He might be a saviour in the future but now he's just a pain in my ass.' Thor thought while clenching his fist.

Thor turned his attention to the chamber where his mother, Frigga, tended to Odin during his slumber.

'I should visit them.' Thor decided.

He walked towards his parents personal chamber with guards following him.

Stepping inside, he found Frigga sitting by Odin's bedside, her expression a mix of concern and weariness. "Mother," Thor said softly, his voice heavy with the weight of recent events.

"Wait outside" He ordered his guards.

They bowed and went outside guarding the chamber.

"My king" Frigga addresses Thor.

"Mother please, there's no need for formalities" he smiled and gave her a hug.

He then looked at Odin "How is he?" He asked.

"It will take time, my son. We can only wait" Frigga answered.

There was a silence between them.

Frigga looked up, her gaze meeting Thor's with a mixture of warmth and sadness. "Thor," she greeted him, her voice gentle yet tinged with sorrow. "What news do you bring?"

Thor took a deep breath, his thoughts turning to the events that had transpired on Earth.

"Loki, he caused chaos at Midgard. His actions have caused much destruction." Thor informed Frigga.

Frigga was feeling a mixture of sadness hearing this "sigh I wish I had raised him better. He will always feel smaller in front of you."

"What are you planning to do. He should be punished for his actions, but son, he is your brother." Frigga added.

"I know mother that's the only reason he is alive." Thor replied making his mother look down.

Thor recounted the events of Loki's latest escapade, detailing the destruction and chaos left in his wake. "He has shown no remorse for his actions," Thor continued, his jaw clenched with frustration. "And now, he must face the consequences of his betrayal."

"Mother I know he is my brother. But I am the king of Asgard, Loki will be judged and punished." Thor said firmly.

Saying that Thor left the chamber with a nervous Frigga.

'I should deal with Loki while I can' Thor thought to himself.

Thor sat on his throne thinking about what to do with Loki.

'I can't just put him in a cell that rat bastard will sneak outside somehow and stir up trouble again. Why can't I have a nice brother ?' Thor thought to himself.

As he sat on his throne he thought about what to do with Loki.

After contemplating for a while Thor made a decision.

He sat up from his throne and walked towards the prison.

As he reached Loki's cell, he ordered the guards accompanying him to wait outside.

Thor stepped into the dimly lit cell, his gaze falling upon Loki, who sat cross-legged on the cold stone floor. The faint shimmer of Asgardian runes encircled him, binding his magic.

"You've caused quite a stir on Midgard,Loki" Thor said with a serious tone to his voice.

"Starting a war with the Chitauri army was not the wisest course of action."

"You have no rights to say that. I would have won the war and ruled Midgard. It's because of you I failed." Loki shouted at Thor.

"Midgard is protected by Asgard it is my responsibility as a King to protect it." Thor replied.

"Oh please you have no power over Midgard, they have far more powerful weapons brother. We should control them and recruit them. We cannot let them be free from our control." Loki said with mixed emotions.

"That is something that I agree with you brother" Thor replied surprising Loki.

"What are you planning to do?" He asked.

"That doesn't concern you." Thor said while walking towards Loki.

With a quick motion Thor produced a bolt of electricity and unleashed it.

Suddenly the figure of Loki who was sitting on the floor vanished and a scream was heard from the side.

Loki could be seen laying on the floor smoke coming out of his body and a knife in his hand.

Thor walked towards him.

"You have become predictable brother and I'm not going to give you another chance." Saying that Thor lifted Loki by his neck.

Loki tried to set himself free but he couldn't do anything in front of Thor's raw strength.

Thor used more power and snapped Loki's neck.

Just like that the god of mischief's life ended.

Thor threw Loki's body to the corner of the cell and left the prison.

He ordered his personal guards to kill the soldiers who were on duty.

He took Loki's body and hid it in a secret chamber near the treasure valt.

The news of Loki's escape from the prison and the execution of the guards spread throughout Asgard.

Thor warned his personal guards to keep this a secret.

He summoned Heimdall to his personal chamber.

"I presume you heard the news of Loki's escape from prison" Thor enquired.

"Yes my king" he replied.

"And I presume you know what happened to Loki with your all-seeing eyes" Thor asked standing in front of him.

"I saw nothing,my king. I couldn't see Loki's escape I have failed you." Heimdall said while kneeling on the floor.

"Let's keep it that way." Thor whispered in Heimdall's ears.

Thor sat on a chair and said "I have great expectations for you Heimdall don't let down. You can leave now."

After Heimdall left his chamber Thor sat on his chair for a while.

Frigga was upset with the news of Loki's escape.

All Thor could do was comfort her and promise her that he will find Loki.
