Party Part 2/2

As they reached the bottom of the stairs a some of the people from the tables walked up to them. They were from the same race as Roland and seemed like they were his relatives. After a while they all walked around and welcomed everyone personally.

Meanwhile Joseph and Catherine were talking with eachother until Roland met with them.

"So you have come! Welcome my friends! It is an honor that you have come to my humble party!"

Joseph didn't know what to think of it, because he did not saw this humble. But Catherine held out her hand which Roland kissed gently.

"It is our honor Roland! The party looks quiet fabulous."

"Thank you! It is the merit of the staff working here. They are the best you can find around here!"

As Joseph looked around he saw a few people doing background works, like watching out for any troubles, changing empty plates and other necessities.

Roland reached out and pulled his son in front of him from behind.

"I belive you haven't met my son Ronald! Ronald this is Catherine and Joseph. They are the ones that helped us with the cript I was talking about."

The boy held his right hand to his hearth and made a small bow.

"It is nice to meet you. My father told me about what you have done for our family. Thank you!"

Joseph was in embarrased.

"It was a job. We got paid for it, so it is not like you should be that grateful!"

"I wouldn't say that."

Rena reached for his husband's shoulder.

"Darling! Your grandfather wants to speak to you about something."

"I see. I'll be going then."

He turned to Catherine and Joseph.

"I'll see you later."

"Yes."

They walked away. Joseph looked at Catherine who was smiling under the mask and made a comment on them.

"They definetly wants something from us."

"I hade the same thought."

After ten more minutes the music changed and people started dancing. Joseph asked Catherine for a dance and they joined in for the first round.

It was hard for Joseph to keep up with the music, because the dance was slightly different than the ones he knew. Also Catherine moved very rigid. It took him a few minutes to get used to it and she also started to move better with time, but they still stood out from the dancing group.

After the first round they sit out from dancing and watched the head of the phoenix family dance with his wife. They looked like professional dancers, who always practice for this kind of events.

After the second round they also stepped down from the dancing. Joseph looked at the other two person from the family. Ronald was speaking with some other people. They looked like they were his friends.

Their daughter was talking with other girls of her age.

As Joseph looked back at Catherine, Roland was right next to him. He almost jumped back from the supprise.

"Excuse me if I frightened you. It seems like you were lost in thoughts."

"No problem. I was indeed!"

They both laughed and then Roland turned to Catherine, bowed and held out his hand.

"Would you like to join me for the next round?"

Catherine seemed a little bit nervous.

"Yes?"

They walked to the middle of the room. Meanwhile Joseph saw Rena on the side watching other people.

'Might as well...'

He walked up to her and copied the move Roland did to Catherine.

"Can I ask the lady of the house for a dance?"

She smiled at him.

"You can."

Her voice was soft and pleasant. It seemed like she just stepped out of a fairy tale. They also walked to the middle of the room and started dancing next to the other two.

As the two pair was dancing, it seemed like the whole room stopped and started to watch them. The four of them stuck out of the dancers. The yellow and black flowers in the middle of the dance floor caught everyon's eyes.

After the round was done they all walked back to the place where Joseph and Catherine was standing formally, then just as Roland started to speak Jordan walked up and whispered into his ear.

"Are you sure about it Jordan?!"

"Yes sir. Please follow me!"

"Joseph, Catherine please come with me!"

Rena also followed them as they walked out through the main door.
